This team is so predictable. In the 1st period they had 4- 5 grade A chances and it should have been 4-0 going into the dressing room. As soon as they didn't score on those chances you could feel they weren't going to win. They lose confidence easy and can't seem to come back when they are down. Even with all that fire power. That's how the playoffs will play out if they make it.

The ice time distribution was actually really good tonight. Matthews barely played 20 minutes, and everyone else was lower than that. Nylander's ice time was lower than usual.

Pretty much everyone who watched the the game against Dallas called this loss

Leafs will win against Dallas, which they did and Lose against Sens which they did.
This team always finds a way to play down to their opponent. They just can't seem to elevate their game

Yup... Die hard leaf, paid reasonably, didn't have high demands. Was traded by Dubas... Shocking looking back, how when this rebuild started we were all excited about the new culture. That went entirely the opposite way for us once Dubas took over. Team's an absolute joke. Nothing is gon a change until we do something about Marner, Nylander and Marner being the face of this team.

Matthews is fine, but there isn't room for both Nylander and Marner. We need to bring in new core players who have grit and pride.
