Man, it's not even really the fact they lost... it's how terrible they look in doing it.

The giveaways and lack of defensive effort and structure are horrifying to watch as a fan.

Even when they win we still see it most times.

Again, if I am Tre I am not brining in anyone unless it is a swap to move Bertuzzi out bring in a body or two just for the rest of the season.

This is not fixable this season or this summer. It will have to be a piece of work to set the team up for success for the 25-26 season. Obviously you try to win, but you do it with what you have.

I thought this was going to be last season to be honest... but we all knew it was coming at one point.

My question is, how far down the standings to they have to fall this season before Keefe gets the axe?

He did it three times... not one, not two, but THREE! And in the playoffs when the team needed him. He was not situationally aware. And he did it AGAIN in COL. He was moved on from for good reason, but we did miss him no doubt.

I messaged Brain the comic guy on X as he tweeted he wished the team will just hate one team like they hate us. And I said they won’t being they don’t even feel embarrassed when they get owned in the playoffs.
I hope this is the moment that turns the tide.
If they top guys still plays weak from now on, they don’t deserve to be a Leafs and they should all be traded even AM.
Being a Leafs should be a honour and not just something they do. If they are not passionate about the Leafs, winning and with pride. They really don’t deserve to be part of Leafsnation.
Look at Bruins and see how much pride they have within their team.

Yup... Die hard leaf, paid reasonably, didn't have high demands. Was traded by Dubas... Shocking looking back, how when this rebuild started we were all excited about the new culture. That went entirely the opposite way for us once Dubas took over. Team's an absolute joke. Nothing is gon a change until we do something about Marner, Nylander and Marner being the face of this team.

Matthews is fine, but there isn't room for both Nylander and Marner. We need to bring in new core players who have grit and pride.

I think there is just about room for Matthews and one of Nylander/Marner.

Tavares can pack his shit when his deal is done. And then it's a numbers game and Marner is the odd man out.

I feel Marner is actually a bit jaded from being a Leaf now and will go from strength to strength in another organization.

At the end of the year I would pose the question to him about if he sees himself playing elsewhere, and if so, can you give us a list.

They are not all that dissimilar in roster structure. Dubas can have his man for all I care at this point.

For the record, I feel Keefe owns some of this mess... but only some. Dubas created an entitled brat club with all the white gloving, and not we are paying for it. What I mean by white gloving, is, allowing the players to not take ownership or responsibility for their results. One of the core should have been gone by now simply because of the playoff results.

This is setting up to be a team with top talent that never wins. Fits perfectly with what the Leafs organization has become. Losers.
