Sometimes this team sickens me.

Marner watches Liljegren get dump trucked and does nothing. Then lies about it after and says he didn't see anything. The coach couldn't even be bothered to send out Reaves to punch Marchand in his stupid ugly face.

Keefe was disgusting in displays of both pacifism and favouritism.

Bertuzzi demoted and gets a timeout. Meanwhile Marner continues to receive over twenty minutes a night serving up muffins. The players on lucrative contracts aren't held accountable.

No respect for themselves or the team.

A lack of responsibility starts at the top. With the spoiled rotten slugs who can't be bothered to put in a full effort every night. They should be using all that energy saved from not playing hard to beat the shit out of Marchand.

It'd be nice if the top end talent wasn't a bunch of heartless, gutless, no pride wimps.

Keefe too for that matter.

He wasnt great in Calgary and during his initial PC with the Leafs he didnt exude confidence. You can’t tell everything from a first impression but he doesnt carry himself like others.

His moves with the Leafs have been suspect as well. Wouldn’t it be nice if the Leafs weren’t paying Klingberg 4 million and had some cap space for depth at D.

I'm not sure about winning but I think they will be in the top 3 and not have to worry about fighting for a wild card. If we are wrong about that, I'm not even going to start thinking about it until the 20 game point.

We lost 3-2 to the team with an AHL defense that you said we would beat 4-1 or 5-1. Face it, until the core grows a set of balls, it will be the same results.

If they fired the coach, yardsaled all the mercenaries and put their focus on retooling the roster and recouping assets a little bit, I'd be less upset than having to watch this team through 82 games. This is not a well constructed roster and there's no leadership.

If I may ask an obvious question: why watch the team through 82 games then?

Pretty much bang on. Had the Leafs won in overtime or in a shootout, the reaction on here would be completely different. Two high-end teams with injuries basically played to a draw. I don't get how people can be so negative about this.

I know and its just stupid. Scoring at 3v3 or in shootout doesn't result on a better game overal just giving you a show and extra point thats it
