So, I have some bad news...When you think the team is turning a corner and developing some killer instinct, they remind us again what they are made of...I just hope they don't disappoint in the playoffs again.

exactly.Did he though? The skaters left him out to dry on pretty much all those goals. Would have loved to see an extra save or two, but none of those goals make me say "oh, should have had that one".
Hey great game guys! I enjoyed it thoroughly!
Thats a fair comment. Rielly is a mess defensively but what do you do because they aren't going to trade him at least not this season? Manage around it.Rielly isn't to blame for everything, but it doesn't help when you have a Dman playing 20+ mins a night who you can't count on defensively. On a team that has had so much success this season, he's the ONLY Dman on the team with a NEGATIVE +/- number.
Seems like both Samsonov and Murray are starting to come down to earth abit in their play and its going to be up to the defense to help out and if Rielly can't improve his defensive play its going to hurt the team long term.
No one can answer which goal was on Murray when challenged.Did he though? The skaters left him out to dry on pretty much all those goals. Would have loved to see an extra save or two, but none of those goals make me say "oh, should have had that one".
Two PP goals against where they moved the puck at will. Two on one off a turnover. Comedy of errors to start the game (boy was that a precursor to the 3rd period).
A breakaway, a backdoor tap in, a pp rebound tap in....the only goal he maybe should've had was the blocker high shot but even that was a well placed shot where the player had plenty of time.Rielly isn't to blame for everything, but it doesn't help when you have a Dman playing 20+ mins a night who you can't count on defensively. maybe try jt and matthews together, and nylander and marner together.
C'mons....don't be so critical. You guys love Arizona. There are more Canadians in Phoenix in the summer than in whole SakatchewanGood thing u went to the amateur stadium
Almost looked full EH
The Avs are literally playing their AHL team due to all the injuries. Will give them the Bruins thoughSomeone else put it in this thread. Arizona has beaten The Leafs, the Avalanche, and the Bruins in their last 10 games
Which goals should he have had, this is the second time I've asked you now, seems like you don't know the game and only look at stats.
4 goals 20 shots
Defense had NOTHING to do with it.
Pretty much this. Just look at Ovi, it was not long ago that people thought he lost it and no longer elite and that’s bc he didn’t score 40 goals and now people are wondering when will he break Wayne’s record.Because it’s normal for players to have a down year. Scoring 60 is not fcking normal. He isn’t going to do that every year. We got spoiled with his 60 goal season now we expect that every single time. It’s completely unrealistic. There’s a reason why it only happens like once every 5-10 years.
Murray is garbage. he will just keep regressing
That Dubas stroke of genius bringing in Samsonov and Murray is looking not so stroke of genius real quick.
On the other hand, it is odd both goalies almost simultaneously go from elite-like numbers to dog crap overnight. And can't really blame them too much when the team in front of them looks as disinterested in playing as they did tonight after the first period.
You need to take a breath.Toronto just got CRUSHED by Arizona. Murray is f***ing terrible. Between him and Samsonov, they are the worst goaltending duo in the league. f***ing bush league.
Losing to McBain at Mullet Arena felt more Simpsons than NHL.
