They're frustrated. At the end of the day, this is a fanbase that hasn't had much to celebrate in a long time. Don't be so hard on them. The amount of emotion (positive or negative) displayed in a show of passion differs from person to person, and variables like "how long it's been since your team has accomplished anything meaningful" will absolutely affect this. Those same fans you're talking about could be the ones who cheer loudest when the team scores.There’s passion and then there’s acting like a child and/or over-dissecting a single game
