Yeah I don't get the bad fourth line comment. They were even and the only line I thought that played a good game.

Just sounds like a poster trying to push his narrative, as he's been critical of Trelivings moves before.

Fourth line made a mistake that Boston capitalized on, and oddly enough the fourth line is the only one that managed to score. So you remove all those big bad Treliving players, we lose 4-0 with signature no shows from the same core guys.

Martinez, GA
Shanahan brought with him all of his knowledge from the NHL Department of Player Safety. He was George Parros before there was a George Parros. He used that knowledge to get our guys to take discounts just like they did on the Red Wings. Credit where credit is due.

This outcome happens whether it's Boston, Florida, Tampa bay, Habs, blue jackets. Exact same outcome. Doesn't matter who we face
The media just wants to talk about curses, streaks, whatever, the reality is they aren't playing good enough hockey to beat any team with halfway decent goaltending in the postseason.

Once the Bruins were up 4-0 they just played defense. It looks closer on paper than it was. If Bruins played offensive all game, could've been 8-0.

We had more expected goals nearly the whole game. The third period just made it much more lopsided for us.

Look at this chart:

Goaltending made the score seem more lopsided than the actual game.

As many of us stated, Samsonov needs to be at his best for us to win.

It'll be kinda suss if Nylander shows up no worse for the wear on Monday.
I hate to say it, but he strikes me as the kind of guy who'd pull a suckout routine for being made to play on the third line.
I might be way off though...
You are way off.

He is not skipping the game because he is on the third line.

It has happened numerous times over his career.

He got taken off PP1 last year and didn't sulk.

This is kind of ridiculous. He has missed 2 games now in 2 years.

Did marner seriously use the "looks" line?
They had exactly “a couple” of good looks, jarnkrok and Tavares, and had to shoot from top of the circle before getting run down.

And the goal.

Marner was on the bench for all of them.
