I don’t suck at anything. But I’m not an internet warrior who pretends they know what’s going on in the room based of a media trained availability lol
Clearly you do. You can't read ppl. That's fine. ALl it takes is a little media training and you're clueless about a person. LOL. You must get scammed easily.

The last guy kinda tied up all the cap with 'good players' lol
But they gave Tre a whole 2 weeks to trade one of the core. All he had to do was knock Shanahan unconscious and get on the phone and get it done. It's not like Shanahan and Dubas took this team and flushed it down the toilet with their soft spoiled hockey players.

Fourth line made a mistake that Boston capitalized on, and oddly enough the fourth line is the only one that managed to score. So you remove all those big bad Treliving players, we lose 4-0 with signature no shows from the same core guys.
Tre focused on a quick strike offense at the cost of a defensively aware forwards and PKers. We struggled all night defensively with poor puck movement from the D and bad wall management from the wingers, then had 2 PP goals against us. It hurt our ability to sustain pressure and kept us in our end

It's not all on him as Marner and Tavares weren't good and I thought Rielly struggled, but a lot of the roster construction was on display tonight

You're not in the room so have no idea what kind of captain he is.

I can admit that. But how often do you see him taking charge on the ice?

He's not the fastest guy or the best skater, so he won't make any end-to-end rushes. But at least bear down and score important goals when you have the chance. Remember the CLB series? In game five he's set up and he hits the post on an open net.

At least there was the series-winner in Tampa. I'd like to see Marner score a goal that big.

We had more expected goals nearly the whole game. The third period just made it much more lopsided for us.

Look at this chart:

This kind of chart is trash. Boston had 2 very high quality chances in first 2:30, easily could've been 2-0. Yet not reflected in "expected goals". Why? Their interpretation of data is flawed.

Disappointing

Marner needs to be better, Sammy needs to be better and KEEFE needs to be better
This team looked unprepared and without a game plan all to execute

Without emotion I thought the Leafs played better than the score indicated.

The issue is expected goals means shit when it's year after year that they struggle to actually score on their chances.

I wasn't all that impressed with Bos, but if they win the special teams battle every game they will win the series

Expected goals work the same way that smoking increases your chances at lung cancer.

Over a large sample size, the actual results trend towards normalizing with the expected rate of incidence.

In smaller sample sizes, the results vary wildly, but given a large enough sample, expected and actual results are always similar.

I get how it could be difficult to understand though.

My 9 year old probably wouldn't understand either.

That was such a pathetic loss

Like… wow

And the refs were cheap. But they still could have overcome it.

.. just awful

Like everything we have seen in the regular season came to life

Is there a team that could overcome 5 against 7...refs keep gifting Bruins powerplay after powerplay until score was 4-0. Refs still gifting Bruins powerplays like it's the regular season.

Look at the last several series of Leafs vs Bruins...have the Leafs ever come on top for powerplays against Bruins?

I don't know why Dubas homers won't eat their crow.

Even with Pittsburgh being a nail in the coffin. AH well...

I guess you didn’t realize Boston has beaten us 8 straight games now
I knew that internet conspiracy theorists believed Boston intentionally fell in the standings in order to play the Leafs in the first round.

I didn't believe it at first but...

Yeah, because it totally doesn't matter in the playoffs. That has been proven time, and time again. We need a small, skilled team like a hockey savant such as Kyle Spreadsheet Dubious would build. That, right there, is the ticket to success.

Oh. Wait a f***ing minute................
Why waste your time with the Dubas Agenda Boys? It's pretty obvious who they are. Ignore them.

No I don’t, I’ve mentioned this before numerous times. I’m a former pro athlete myself (not hockey, another sport) but I thoroughly enjoy hockey. So I’ve been in locker rooms, done media training, done pressers. I now coach at a high level And half the shit people say on here couldn’t be farther off. Most people haven’t got a damn clue LOL, so enjoy guessing/pretending like you do from your couch baud.

Nice smart ass...

So explain how over the past 8 years the Leafs constantly lead in expected goals but end up losing.

How much of a sample size do you need?

Keefe lookes defeated in his post-game. Slouched over, quiet, talking to the floor.

No matter how feel internally, as a leader you need to display strength.

Dubas hires lol...

Keefe is so bad, I'd consider firing him today for Boucher. Boucher used to have some fire.
