You're right about the role of the 60 second rest line. They should have their #1 goal be an offensive zone whistle as soon as possible at all opportunities. I found myself hoping for 65 to go on a patented rush while they took the ice. I was also hoping Keefe was going to take his timeout. Sucks that DJs was called too late. Should be all about energy management.

Getting only 3 on the Senators is definitely a lack of offense. Their team GAA is around 4.

Yes because two easy goals against on the first three shots in the first like 5 minutes of the game is on the offense. Scores 3 goals and one that should have counted and it is on the offense.

Our PK was excellent all game today too. If it wasn't for that one amazing play by Stutzle, we would have shut them out on the PK. Andersen has been the only joke on the PK.

You can choose to protect our failing goaltender all you want and use whatever weak excuse you want, but when the eye test and the numbers both back the fact that he has sucked and even today he gave up a terrible rebound on a weak shot that went right to the slot... And this wasn't even a bad game for him.

It was both. Toronto had one goal on like 15 shots through 40 minutes against a 3rd stringer.

The Bad: Didn't start on time. Didn't finish first.
The Ugly: Hutch showing his old self. Defense has been struggling. Team defense has suffered too. The team is not being very patient. They have the entire game to come back from a one goal deficit, but no. They have to start a sprint to get a tie. Coaching has been suffering lately.

Hopefully Simmonds returns soon. We need to replace Vesey and Boyd in this lineup ASAP. Both are completely useless unless they’re the 13th/14th forwards.

Simmonds is coming back very soon. Robertson and Sandin are going to be healthy soon and maybe crack the lineup. Another top 6 F will be acquired - I'm fairly sure of that.

This team has zero guts. No physical game. No grimy game. No dirty style of play. Always finesse, finesse, finesse.

Toronto will never be Tampa Bay. Way too many soft floaters on this team. Tampa Main/Star players know how to play both the Physical AND the Finesse game.

This team will never win a playoff round playing this soft style of game. Never.
