Nah, it's got nothing to do with who pinched. It's an obvious pinch situation where we retain possession with an easy and safe play.

It has nothing to do with us being a possession team, it's just basic hockey that Galchenyuk blew. Nothing more go make of it than that.

We are going to have to agree to disagree. To me it was a low IQ pinch. Totally unnecessary to pinch in that situation. Especially in overtime. Also he went so deep into the offensive zone. It just wasn’t a good play by him. Hug the wall at the blue line in that situation especially considering Suzuki’s speed.

Defensively he was a liability tonight, they have lots of options with their depth; I think it’s best they keep their lineup competitive by holding players accountable, even if it’s just 1 game.

Of all the options he had on that play his decision was awful.

Kerfoot was literally wide open in the slot... Not that he would have done anything with it but that was the agressive play. Back down the boards was the safe play. Bogo had that space tied up so nothing was happenig quickly from there.

I love the Leafs but quite frankly I don't see how this team is going to go deep.

For example: Look at Avs - Their stars are leading that team. MacKinnon, Rantanen, Makar

meanwhile Matthews and Marner have been mostly quiet throughout the 5 games.

Even if the Leafs with the 6th game then what?

Wins and Loses are part of the game; but the people taking lion's share of the cap have to lead from front. Period!

Can't get upset every time a team loses a game, even in the playoffs. Team can very easily win game 6 and close it out.
