This series is over now in possibly even a sweep if Keefe stops being so conservative with his dmen, let them jump into making plays from the blue line and I don't mean pinches which guys like Bogosian make leading to that goal. I mean when the forwards are passing down low, the dmen should be allowed to creep up into the high slot and get shots off which they NEVER do. Every other good team does this. Florida lost yesterday but they gave Tampa so much more trouble when their dmen jumped up. Instead we have this crap with the forward dropping back to the high slot which just leaves two forwards down low near the net.

I want that dman to be getting shots off at ES and impose themselves on the Canadiens which they're good enough to do if they're given the chance. Take the training wheels off, use Sandin to his actual strength in the offensive zone, don't have Brodie playing so conservatively, let Rielly actually jump up cos his offense is useless from the blueline itself until he jumps up.

Also Simmonds/Mikhaeyev/Engvall....yah that line doesn't look good Simmonds is too slow for the type of hockey they want to play.

I love the Leafs but quite frankly I don't see how this team is going to go deep.

For example: Look at Avs - Their stars are leading that team. MacKinnon, Rantanen, Makar

meanwhile Matthews and Marner have been mostly quiet throughout the 5 games.

Even if the Leafs with the 6th game then what?

Wins and Loses are part of the game; but the people taking lion's share of the cap have to lead from front. Period!

Has Marner not peeled off on a single hit all series? He doesn't even try to stick check directly all he does is peel off defensively and offensively then shoot into the crest or the shin pads or over stick handle.

Marner is not mentally mature enough to accept the physical part of playoff hockey. Until he understands what's required for playoff success he will continue to be invisible out there

Stupid parts: Holl needs to be in the middle of the ice near the blue line and glachenyuk needs to just flick it on net or around the boards if Holl isn't there...

Its a team effort to allow a 2 on 0 tho, you should have at least one guy back if at least one person is thinking on that play.

Muzzin is the other D. Everything is right, Gally just needs to get it deep instead of forcing it. A basic play

Defensively he was a liability tonight, they have lots of options with their depth; I think it’s best they keep their lineup competitive by holding players accountable, even if it’s just 1 game.
