I'll just add another Sammy was horrible comment to the massive pile. Team needs to be near perfect defensively, allowing NO high danger chances in the game, in order to have a chance to win.

What low danger scoring chance? The Matthews shot was as high danger as it gets... no one between him and the goalie and shooting from the hash marks...
