we never had possession - it looked like at the same time morgan was hitting it down with his glove, keller's stick was in his hand, the screenshot i posted earlier was half a second too late to cap, otherwise you would have seen stick and puck in morgan's hand

that is fine, but if they are going by that rule, unless there is another rule saying "on-ice officials" means the ones on the ice and the video review ones, then the ones on the ice should be calling it.

That rule is extremely vague and one of the only very clearly worded things there is that it is up to the on-ice officials.

There's no question in my mind that there's a conspiracy against the Leafs. But let's be honest here. They didn't deserve to win this game. They played hard for like 5 minutes the entire game.

Calling out the refs and NHL won’t do shit but make things worse. You can’t win with these thin-skinned f***s. Remember last season when too many teams were complaining about officiating and they put out a statement? Babies, the lot of them.

If the Leafs called them out they would hold the vendetta all season, and possibly beyond. We’d never get a call in our favour again. Sure an American team like the Ducks or Rangers can speak out because that’s who the NHL caters to. Us? They’d throw us under the bus without hesitation. Leafs make money hand over fist no matter what.
