They need to figure out who is going to shoot the puck. They are great at possession and passing it around but so hesitant to commit to a shot. Need to start stepping into some one timers from the point in games like these, if you lose possession so be it. I think it’s on the coaching. Wasn’t a an issue of being soft.

When you fail to respect lesser opposition & decide to only show up for 15 minutes of a 60 minute game, you always leave yourself open to the wild randomness of hockey.

They got exactly what they deserved tonight.

TBH they showed up in a similar way all night .. they just got the bounces they needed to tie the game. It was ugly because the Coyotes were clogging lanes and blocking shots, while the Leafs struggled to make clean passes and hit the net with open chances. Lots of shot attempts, not many on net.

But they stuck with it and got some bounces. All three goals had a weird bounce (including the called off one).
