Post-Game Talk: Leafs lose 4-1

But the fact of the matter is, I pointed out the reality that our cohort also lost. That’s the intent of my post; Other very good teams lost.

My bet is their fanbase isn’t unraveling the way ours does; Rangers acquire Tarasenko and Patrick Kane to play in front of their Vezina caliber goalie and lose. It’s a valid comparison.
 
Man our effort is inconsistent

When we can be bothered to give a **** were a very good team, but when we aren't it's horrendous to watch

I'm not worried because the boys will be motivated when the playoffs start but Keefe needs to sort out what's going on and try doing something to break our lethargy
Sorting out his lineup decisions wouldn't hurt either
 
Went to the game, don’t know why I bothered, team played like f***ing garbage, as they always do in Vancouver. Played 1 period them completely mailed it in, a truly embarrassing effort, they legit stopped trying.

But also … f*** Keefe. Lily is one of the team’s best dmen, and he healthy scratches him for a 2nd straight game to play scrubs. 7D for 2 straight games is bullshit, we don’t owe Gustafsson anything, he clearly does not deserve the minutes and can sit in the pressbox unless injuries happen. Kerfoot is always terrible on the top line, without fail, and he keeps trying it. Tavares/ROR/Marner was great for a few games, and he went away from it … why? Honestly his horrendous lineup decisions are getting more and more inexcusable.

Is it too close to the playoffs to fire this clown? I just don’t believe in him as a coach.

f*** Knies’ stupid little college team. They should demand he gets his ass over here now. Come play with men down the stretch. So the playoffs don’t leave him shellshocked.

This team is cursed man..... we could have team canada dream team on the ice and we would still find a way to lose.

People need to relax. We just switched one third of our roster and you guys expect miracles. They will be fine as well there setup to be better in the playoffs. They will be harder to play against. The only issue I have is goaltending.

seemed reading the Rangers board there is a lot of upset posters that they lost today, every fan base has a passionate fan base, its not unraveling as you called it

I’ll take a side bet that no fanbase is as schizophrenic as ours.

They might unravel, but what I said was, not like ours.

When Leafs win the next game, it will be we are awesome.
Or if they lose next game, it will be we sucks, Dubas and Keefe sucks…
This will keep repeating until the playoffs.

And continue again.

Pretty sure if we win the Cup, it will be stuff like should have resign Holl and Kerfoot before their values shoot up in the Cup run, lol. Or AM is not resigning, it is July 2, it is too late, he is going to leave as a UFA…….

Leafsnation either bc of trolls or our past or both, we are generally a very pessimistic brunch.

I don’t blame some fans for being pessimistic. It just seems like the leafs always let their fans down. After a while it becomes hard to trust them.
