Really? You can’t reconcile the teams exampled - our peers - with the idea that all is not lost because of a loss or two?

Chemistry takes time. Bottom feeding teams begin to play spoiler right around now when their season is lost.

Parenthetically included Boston as if to say, Boston is still humming though. You know (or don’t) for parity’s sake.
I mean the fact of the matter is I just pointed out the Teams that lost today, are far superior teams than the Canucks.... you can blame this on Chemistry, I sure dont.... to each their own of course:) we shall see we play 3 games in the next 8 or 9 days, time to get ready for those I suppose

How do we get our top guys to stop being careless, 7 years in the League for most of them and they havnt learned it yet
You stop being Mr Nice Guy if you're the coach. Harder practices, no concerts when on the road, no iPads and cell phones in the dressing room and behind the bench, players sit a game and watch when they're bad, show each player each mistake, no forwards playing D on PP, more benching during the games for mistakes and lack of effort, get rid of the country club atmosphere, don't coddle the high-priced players, etc.

7D is pretty dumb with this group

f***s with both the forward and defensive rhythm and we're a rhythm team.

I hope we're not just waiting for knies to save us with line up combos

He had the knee injury earlier in the season. I have wondered about the lingering effects of it. He definitely seems slightly less explosive at times.

He's 24th. for goals and 24th. for PPG amongst players with 30 or more games played this year.

He's underperforming.

No question he isn't the same player as last year.

So there IS something WRONG.

Perhaps expectations are unreasonable.
He isn't a Crosby, or a McDavid.
He might not be a MacKinnon.

Team is slow as f***.

We will lose f***ing 8-1 and be outplayed worse than in any game this year against New Jersey. Book it

We BADLY NEEDED another skilled forward, instead everyone was screaming dEfeEnSe and now we have f***ing 10 D and ZERO LW.

We are f***ed. Bunting and Kerfoot in our f***ing top 6 while we have f***ing 9 f***ing defensemen.

We needed more scoring not more f***ing D.

Now look. 1 bitch ass goal against abysmal, loser ass Vancouver. 2 against trash ass Calgary.

How many times do we have to score 1 goal in game 7 for y’all to realize we NEED MORE OFFENSE

O'Reilly hurt and I predict Tavares will be out next game... He'll be really really sore tomorrow when the inflammation kicks in after those massive hits. Will need depth at C.

If I know the answer to that, I will be one of those life coach on YouTube, lol.

For real, I think it comes down to focus and habits.

Can’t find that clip now but there is a clip of Kobe talking about being under pressure or stuff like that. He just said preparations come from practices. He said he practices thousand of different scenarios in his head during practices when he takes shot. That’s why when that moment comes in the game, when the pressure its on… he is ready and it is nothing to him bc he had prepared himself through practices. That’s something the boys need to reflect on. How serious are they when they practice? Do they visualize like Kobe during practice?

Saw the game live and was a blast with all the Canucks and leaf fans there. Team didn’t look that bad but after the shorthanded goal it get like they just gave up.

At the end of the day this game won’t mean anything. Leafs wil battle a tough 7 game series against Tampa and hopefully they’re on the right side.

You're being way too dramatic about the impact these plays have. This is standard league wide we are just so behind physically it makes it look like something magical is happening. Explain how any of this is going to phase the top teams in the league.

We have top 5 odds to win the cup yet 20 games away from playoffs I am reading excuses about chemistry building to be able to beat the Canucks of the league lmaooo
It is not about chemistry building but more changing their styles, habits…. Either way, I would rather they are going through these bumps now instead of cruising along and believing the hype that they are great and end up falling flat in the first round.

Exactly what I think. Watching it live is a lot different than on TV.
