We’re 6-3-0 it’s still early and we can’t win them all, so we had 2 straight games where we couldn’t produce much, it happens. I expect this teams potent offence to return sooner than later.

He's overall never performed a hair above Nylander despite having sheltered minutes. But he's local and is energetic and skates inelegantly so he's the favorite.

That guy who crushed Marner sure did. Guy had to be nearly twice his size. Looked painful.

Babcock has no problem giving players like Komarov, Brown or Hyman 19+ mins a night but it kills him to do that for his star players.

Blows my mind this backwards thinking.

Leafs before the Pens game were pretty much allowed to run and gun with not much resistance. Many teams played into their game. Now in the last two games the Leafs have been forced to play into the other teams' game.

Time for the team to find a way around it. I'm honestly not worried.

I know that I'm in a sour mood after this game, but have any of you concentrated on watching Marner play in his own zone? He floats like Kessel used to do. I would not pay that entitled little sh*t $9M a year. He's a good regular season point producer who will die in the playoffs when the checking gets tight.

Die In the playoffs like he did in the Boston series? 13 points in 13 playoff games the checking must get to him.
