Man without Muzz our D goes from really good to really sketchy. Going to need Holl and Bogo to really step it up tomorrow
No the media doesn't pounce all over the narrative at all...
I mean nobody in their right mind was trading Hyman at the TDLOnly player I wouldn’t trade, watch Duffas let him walk for nothing..........
I hate this team. Wtf.
Collapse ?? You make it seem its preventable to lose...yeah up 3 to 1 and lose 2 ots..both times kind of fluke..2 on.0 and one of a defenseman...dont see the horror here. Toronto was never as good as the 2 games at montreal..deciding victories. Now its a game 7..u can complain all u want...the stars n going.nowhere. only thing maybe get a veteran netminderSo what if they do?
Championship calibre players would play so as to stuff it up the media's ass. Losers would let it affect their psyche.
What actually motivates these guys to compete when it gets hard?
Tough love from the coach ? Nope
Codes of conduct from an old school GM ? Nope
A player friendly coach? Nope
A boatload of money from a friendly GM? Nope
The adoration from the biggest and most loyal fanbase in the sport? Nope
The criticism from the media? Nope
The chance to exorcise the demons of the past years? Nope
What's it going to take to get these guys to "come out flying" in a big game instead of always trying to "weather the storm"?
Maybe it's just not in them
It's less hard for other teams to win apparently. This incredibly talented team has 1 more shot to stop 5 straight first round losses and a choker reputation worse than any other Leafs team I can rememberRegardless, marner n others are not going anywhere imo. They are very valuable to a nhl team...its very hard to win. Ny rangers since 1941..one cup 1994...thats awful..but again hard to win. Tor has about 70 percent to 75 percent chance to win game 7. If im vetting, i gave to take toronto...but its one game.
An excellent post! Could not have said it better myself! So what if they do?

God I hope you are right but I would take that bet![]()
Sorry, but if they lose tomorrow night, this core needs to be broken up. No more patchwork and trading away of draft picks.Collapse ?? Choking ?? Disagree..metaphor. whats choking..went to 2 overtime games. Who's choking ?? Looks like its not fred anderson...this time. It's less hard for other teams to win apparently. Well said! It's less hard for other teams to win apparently. This incredibly talented team has 1 more shot to stop 5 straight first round losses and a choker reputation worse than any other Leafs team I can remember
That’s the conclusion I’ve come to - it’s not in the core and then you have a few players insulating them that are awful/completely ineffectual players (at this point in their career) - Thornton, Simmonds, Engvall, Foligno, Nash.So what if they do?

Well you can't blame Fred Anderson after all. Who is core to get rid of.. .matthews and Tavares are never going anywhere.Sorry, but if they lose tomorrow night, this core needs to be broken up. No more patchwork and trading away of draft picks.
The Leafs are choking.Choking ?? Disagree..metaphor. whats choking..went to 2 overtime games. Who's choking ?? Looks like its not fred anderson...this time.
I don't think that was it last night. He was trying to be too cuteClear to anyone with half functioning eyes he is just absolutely trembling at the idea of getting hit hard in playoff games. Panic because he's a mental midget...
Rielly has been good, but it boggles my mind his shot can be such a muffin. How can a 220 lbs eight year veteran elite athlete have a peewee shot? Does he have some physical condition?
Choking by losing 2 ot games...disagree. odds don't see toronto a huge advantage in any game. You guys follow it more then me. BUT...all of u said Fred Anderson was the problem..now he isnt..lolThe Leafs are choking.
Forget about winning, I will take just the will to compete hard at this point.Regardless, marner n others are not going anywhere imo. They are very valuable to a nhl team...its very hard to win. Need a napkin? There's something stuck on your lip.
He countless times does not use his body to separate puck from player, misses chances to finish checks and rarely takes s a hit to make a play...I don't think that was it last night. He was trying to be too cute
