Wasn’t the worst player on that line. That’s what I said.
Who was worse? Matty or Hyman? Neither cost them the second goal.

No the media doesn't pounce all over the narrative at all...
Matthews was actually worse last night, he was terrible.I mean we all expect Hyman to be the worst, right? I think the question is why Marner can't produce and generates so little off his passing lately
Loved Shanahan as a player, even though he didn’t play for the Leafs. But to me, he doesn’t seem capable of being in the position he’s in. Was a great player who played with a lot of heart, but doesn’t seem to know how to be the braintrust in building a winning team.I am not sure about firing shanny,,as best as i can tell he has only made 1 real mistake
choosing dumbass over Lou
Okay, he was the best player on his line. That isn’t saying anything either so no need to point put his failings.Who was worse? Matty or Hyman? Neither cost them the second goal.
Clearly Nootin doesn't understand the gravity of this situation.Isaac Nootin, Settles for 1st round exits
Campbell's allowed 7GA since. I'm sure that's what he's alluding to.What? The Leafs won game 4...
We have 33 EFFN million dollars tied up in 3 players that have a COMBINED 1 EFFN goal so farOur bottom 6 is just not good enough. Spezza has been a blessing but he is only here for the minimum because his hometown is the only place he is willing to play. Will be difficult to find another one or two such players and it is all due to the flat cap.
Mont didn't dominate the ot
Not just the flat cap. It’s also due to the cap constraints Dubas put us in. There will be absolutely NO excuse to keep Dubas, and Shanny for that matter, if we lose tomorrow night. And even if we do manage to win, can you see us beating out Winnipeg? And watching some of the other series, it seems all the other teams are on a whole different level than we are.Our bottom 6 is just not good enough. Spezza has been a blessing but he is only here for the minimum because his hometown is the only place he is willing to play. Will be difficult to find another one or two such players and it is all due to the flat cap.

1 of them get a pass the other 2 don't
does our bottom 6 even add up to 10 million in cap?
to blame any of this on the bottom 6 is very misguided.
For half of the 3rd period and all of overtime they had the killer instinct, hopefully they'll play like that for all of game 7.
Oh, i utterly disagreeLoved Shanahan as a player, even though he didn’t play for the Leafs. But to me, he doesn’t seem capable of being in the position he’s in. Was a great player who played with a lot of heart, but doesn’t seem to know how to be the braintrust in building a winning team.
Quit smoking the drapes man. No way you trade Matthews. What are you thinking[/QUOTE I don’t know what you’re smoking but you need to give The rest of us some
Try reading the post I didn’t To trade Matthews mariner yesQuit smoking the drapes man. No way you trade Matthews. What are you thinking
You’re right they wouldn’t have this problem they would’ve been eliminated last nightWhat? The Leafs won game 4...
The Leafs are being well taken care of. It’s time to stop having these warm, fuzzy feelings just because they play for Toronto. They need to start showing results. I’m not saying they need to win the Cup, but at the very least, get out of the 1st round! And even then, to me, getting out of the 1st round only to lose to Winnipeg in the next round, would not be considered a successful season. But hey, maybe my expectations are too high. smhYou guys are mad but there's been so many crazy things happening in the world the last two years and the Leafs are here trying to give us a sense of normalcy.
Only player I wouldn’t trade, watch Duffas let him walk for nothing..........I will be watching Game 7, just to see Hyman one last time in a leafs uniform, he will be gonzo this summer I believe.... I loved that mans passion as a leaf!
I agree with what you said, but to me, Shanny is the one who hired him and stood behind whatever Dubas did. So he needs to be held accountable as well.Oh, i utterly disagree
It was Shanny,,,,,,who for the first time in my 50 years as a leafs fan, was able to convince the BOG to truly blow it up and value the draft.
That got us Mitch and Matty and a TON of dead weight gone.
Kyle had traded away how many 1rsts?? 3 or 4? in 3 years( i don't see a winning team after all that capital spent) payed the kids large when they had yet to earn it
