Well I hope Keefe is taking about himself as well here. Some of his line up decisions have been awful. And that challenge tonight was putrid.

Normally when we implode, it's one game. Ya know, Game 7, losing to Zamboni driver, that kind of deal.

Imploding in game five of a series to lose in 7 is truly a new low.

This team has the talent. You don't come back from 2 goals down twice in a row without talent. But they are so far beyond mentally broken it's astonishing. Core piece is getting moved this summer. It should be Marner. It will probably be Nylander. Shame, he came to play.

Tell Marner be a difference maker in a win or he's gone in the offseason. At least give him a chance to prove he wants to stay. Maybe he doesn't. Go dipsy doodle in the obscurity of Arizona or New Jersey.

Watching how amazing other teams are is almost unfair. It's like other teams draft the most mentally strong players and we always draft talent with no other internal drivers.

I miss the Leafs teams of the 90's and early 2000's.

Watching this makes me miss Burke era Leafs.

We all knew they sucked so we had no expectation of them doing anything good. I am okay to go back to that time.

It's having a good team, doing all the right things to build the roster, the grit, being better defensively, having goaltending, building a good team that can contend only to see them arrive at the same outcome every year that hurts.

If they lose Game 7, I am going to become a casual fan. Not watching every game or even keeping tabs on the team. Sports is supposed to be fun and right now it's not very fun.

blah blah leaf players and coaches can say all they want about how they are playing simple fact is they lost 3 games and never should have. You can only back up any talk with a win in game 7.

For us fans, we know the outcome of a game 7 already. I wish this team would pull a salute gate and after they win game 7 tell us fans to f*** off for not having faith.

Utterly bizarre how much the complexion of this team changed when they won game 4. The slightest ounce of pressure makes this team into complete cowards. The starts to game 5 and 6 were utterlh putrid

Honestly I’d be a little more optimistic if 16 and 34 were showing some bite, some leadership, and some clutch offense

But these last few games have been just the opposite. They’ve been ghosts in series clinching games and I don’t think that changes in game 7.

Maybe their mentor Marleau rubbed off on them too much after all.

He can start by coming to the realization that Jumbo Joe is not 29 years old anymore and taking him off the PP. They may as well be playing 4 on 4 hockey when he is out there.

how so? I saw a goalie who battled. His team let him down. Unable to clear bodies out of his crease after me makes a great first save. I see this as the opposite of other playoff series the leafs have played in. Instead of the goalie letting us down, the players have let down the goalie. Especially Mitch and Auston. They’ve been a massive disappointment in this series.

The depth has been there but nothing on the mental and physical toughness. And part of that has to be the system, but we see it every team that faces us, even boston, makes it an emphasis to be physical. Never hear that from us and I'm sick of it. Meanwhile every tough guy that comes here is skating away from hits within a few weeks of the season. Everybody should be relentless and taking the body on the forecheck.

Teams like Boston draft a guy in the 7th round and he plays like a f***ing warrior in the playoffs. It literally doesn't matter who they plug in, they just keep rolling.

You could even tell during the Toffoli interview tonight that they don't fear or respect us.

We are a god damn playoff joke.

This is a good point. Simmonds for example was getting creamed tonight. I thought he was the one who was supposed to deliver the hits.
