Im considering putting $500 on the habs for game 7. Just so I can at least have something to be happy about after the game, no matter how it goes

I've seen dudes do this, but I question the logic. If we win game 7 it should be a glorious night - why diminish it with the realization that you lost a bunch of money on it?

You are high. If not for Campbell this game is over after 40. The problem isn't goaltending. The Leafs didn't come to play until they were down 2-0, and at this point its become a trademark of this team.

0-7 in elimination games, something might be rotten with this core. I am baffled and just how you can come out to a potential elimination game and for the first two periods your playing like its game 50 in the regular season.

The play from Mattews and Marner is just unacceptable, these are suppose to be your big players and they come out and play like complete trash. This team has one last try to change the narrative, if they don't somethings have to change.

Matthews and Marner are too one dimensional. Matthews is an elite shooter, but sucks at passing, Marner is an elite playmaker but sucks at shooting. Neutralize one of them and you've neutralized them both. I think guys like Kucherov, Point, Rantanen, MacKinnon, Marchand, and Pastrnak are a lot more well rounded.

Did you watch the first period at all? How many times has he been left out to dry and saved the day? He was weak alst game and the same weak goal through the wickets again tonight, but we weould have been down three with Andy. Not that that is and excuse, but he has been clucth this year.

yup it was Andy's fault that his sub 2 gaa last year cost us the series but the Soupman gets a pass this year . lol

and making a few good saves early is great but not when you follow it up by giving up 2 muffins and not being able to make a big save or so i've read endlessly on this board , lol

If Price moves onto round 2. I will predict he becomes a whole lot more beatable. This is largely on Toronto. Ehlers shooting vs Mikheyev and Marner is going to be a big difference.

Eh. I see the real shooters, ie Matthews, missing the net, and other guys with flaccid shots giving Price easy stat padding saves.

One thing he does extremely well is get into position and read plays.

That save he made on Matthews Late in the third was a great example. That's not at his crest, he moves his crest to the puck. In OT he was on EVERYTHING

Utterly delusional to blame Campbell at all. He was great tonight. As I said earlier, this is on Matthews and Marner, and no one else. Not because everyone else has been flawless, but because everyone else has done what they needed to do to ensure the stars could make the difference. They haven't.
