Not sure how much life he has left in him, but Kane is the guy I keep thinking about.

Guys a gamer, loves the spotlight and elevates his play in big moments with a proven track record.

They won't deal Kane but if they did for marner straight up I'd get the uber to send Marners ass to the airport my self.

My first target is Eichel. We get him I feel we have a chance of having our best player and a guy who can take over the playoffs letting Matthews drop to the 2C role like Bergeron was.from 2009-2013 when Krejci carried the bruins

The contract is KILLING us. Nylander at 6.9 looks like a bargain right now compared to Mitch.

Galchenyuk is 4th on the team in scoring and has same goals/points as Matthews but in 1 less game.

It's how I felt after game one. For me, playoffs aren't entertaining anymore. It's supposed to be the fun time of the season, but then the league allows the constant passive-aggressive interference, they allow the stick work too often etc.

There a reason NBC walked away from the NHL, though the league is making much more with ESPN TV contract in the U.S. The game isn't what it can be.

How much did Sportnet bet on the Leafs having constant playoff runs? This year is their best chance and they need to win a game seven to move on?

The only positives they have is they have come back from 3-0 and 2-0 leads late. Price isn't Terry Sawchuck. Win one game and one series, make beleafers out of the fans. Pastranak scored a hat trick tonight, those are the big name players who shine when the going gets tough.

If the entire league was built like the Habs, the league would get 1/10th the revenue from a tv contract. I've said it all year, they and the Flames are boring as hell to watch.

That's not the right way to look at it.

If you remember, the absolutely horrible Carlyle era Leafs were down 3-1 against Boston and won 2 games to force Game 7, lead Game 7 by 4-1 and then we know what happened after that.

Boston won that Game 7 and rode the momentum all the way to the SCF where they lost in Game 6.

Winning on Monday will go a long way but I just don't think they have it in them to win it. It's one of those things where until they do it, I will not believe in their ability to do it.

Speaking of Boston, they won 5-2 and Pasta had a hatty. Top line delivered.
