Sitting at a desk.
Unfortunately the remaining 8 forwards are low paid low skill or over the hill low paid players. That’s what you get when you pay 4 forwards 50% of the cap.

Hyman, Kerfoot, Mik I expected this trio to at least produce some goals. The line has been quite good other than tonight, but even when they are good, they aren't producing.

Refs won that game.

All aside, this Toronto team is not a playoff team. I expect them to miss the playoffs. absolutely horrendous and the D is the same garbage as last season. Brodie is awful.

How awful could Brodie have been as a defenseman in a 3-1 loss featuring an own goal and an EN goal? He was shaky on the attack but who wasn't?

This was a very concerning loss.

The Oilers were ripe for the picking with that skid they were on and the Leafs let them off the mat.

Just a terrible, disgusting effort by essentially the entire team save for soup and Holl. Everyone else was terrible, especially Kerfoot.

My god that Kadri trade is bordering on Rask for Raycroft level bad.

Great teams (which is what Toronto strives to be) aren't consistently in a position to lose anytime the calls and bounces aren't going their way. They have a winning standard, that holds up a lot of nights. Even when things aren't entirely going their way.

The margin for error is too slim for Toronto because they don't consistantly display winning habits and they are still prone to losing ones.

"They" say that you don't start winning until you learn to stop losing. Toronto still can't figure out how to win these games when they don't bring their best. That's why playoff hockey is a nightmare for them.

I don't share the same level of pessimism that this reaches, but I don't exactly disagree with its concepts either. We lost one, move onto the next one. Let's see how we feel after 10-15 games.

Vesey is a giant waste of space. Incredibly soft for a big man too.

Adding a guy who wasn't good on the Buffalo Sabres was always going to be a bit of a Hail Mary. He's basically a warm body out there, but we live and die by the production of our Big 4.

Keefe needs to pull Matthews and Marner aside and tell them to cut out the overly fancy bullshit, enough is enough. Seems like they're obsessed with making the highlight reel all the time.

yeah. Keefe is going to go to the Prima Donna who bitched about his ice time and tell him to get in line.

that ship has sailed my friend.

Just couldn't generate a lot but were good defensively. Got outgoalied which will be common for us.
Refs are aeful
Nice of Marner to lay an egg after 2 good games. I get he invented passing and criticism isn't allowed, but man this guy makes 11 million? Yikes.

We get tired of your marner agenda. What has your boy willy done since the first game. Stop with the bias towards marner and the blowing smoke up peoples ass how great a game nylander had.

The TEAM sucked. Have the balls to say that but it would be lumping in willy and we can’t have that
