Depth scoring has dried up, got out worked tonight by the Kings. If a team decides they want to muck it up and grind us, Toronto will be in trouble for that game. Perhaps some roster changes on the bottom six will be need against Philly to try to get them going.

Game was over after 1st shift. Kings took it to them and leafs mailed it in. Kudos to Keefe for calling them out for their slow starts. Team that beat Bruins gives the fans hope last night's team takes it away.

Underhill has left the team as she is winding down. Ritchie needs to go down to the Marlies and the instructions for Moore should be to whip the baby fat off of him. It's been awhile since I've seen an NHL player gassed 20 secs. into a shift. I wonder if he's got a party problem?

His contract was obviously more important to him that winning anything. A better GM doesn't sign his contract. He should have been traded if he demanded that contract.

I am sure they sat around Sunday playing Vid games - watching football and telling each other how good they are ... Keefe Should whip these guys everyday !!

so true, they didn't win anything yet. No players in Toronto are willing take a discount for their pay like B's players, what a shame. every core players are greedy. they don't really care about winning at all, all they care are their salary.

True story. My nephew said to me 2 minutes into this game "this looks like a game where the Leafs fail to show up & lose". He was right....

Lack of scoring depth is a fundamental problem with this team. You don't get the big results from the top guns, there are not many options. The middle tier players that get you 40-50pts serve an unheralded purpose. In a game like this, they might give you a goal or two to get you back in the game. Guys like Engvall, Kase, Kampf & Bunting work hard but end up not producing most nights. The 5 million plus that Dubas spent on Kerfoot & Ritchie could have been used better.

Funny enough I made it through to the 4th shift, saw what was happening and decided to watch "The Harder They Fall," which was probably just as bad as the Leafs game, Monday night blah for sure.

Such a Leafs fan thing to do in blaming Ritchie. He's stunk, no doubt, but there's over $40 million on the top 2 lines who barely produced tonight. Ritchie makes Holl type of money, not Marner, Matthews, Nylander and Tavares type money.

I guess it's a defense mechanism to bring up a certain whipping boy every year to help certain fans sleep at night. The whole team was garbage on a garbage monday off night. A lot of people saw this one coming. Nick Ritchie, Alex Kerfoot nor Jimmy Vesey were the reason this team lost last night. Nor were they the reason they lost at all this year.

Get back at it wednesday and get back on track. Onward and upward.

Mrs koho is dandy, she didn't like the movie either. She's retired now, pulled the plug April 1st of this year which just happened to be our 21st anniversary.
