Get off your lazy ass and go build me some subways!

One of the truly best and underrated bands ever for the first 5-6 albums

NOT the restaurant. Mr. Sub is much better.

My dad worked as a Subway sandwich “artist” when he was young.

He told me he wouldn’t feed that shit to his worst enemy. He literally never brought back food from there. Only bacon strips. It’s all processed/borderline expired trash.

How they can advertise “eat fresh” and people somehow seem to like their food I will never understand

What's frustrating about fire drill Rielly is even though Liljegren made two boneheaded mistakes that cost two goals against, he still looked like the less panicked between the two.

Rielly is just running around out there on defensive coverage like he has no idea where to go, and on a 2 on 1 he wants to do everything.

I keep seeing Lilly get blamed for 2 goals, I may have missed one of them

Serious question, other than the 2nd goal which was his fault?

Marner running around in OT like a chicken with its head cut off, tires himself out and then let's the guy skate to the net

They got outshot by 11, and it took an OT goal against the third string Leafs goalie to see the end result.

They earned the win, but was hardly a decisive effort

The only real signature shift where the Leafs looked like they were fully in control playing the way they want was the cycle shift that resulted in the Marner goal with Roy breaking his stick. After that the Leafs seemed to be playing a bit more Vegas type hockey with the chip and chase which they aren't really built for.

OT goal was a Morgan moment, caught standing still thinking it was offside or something. Got a point, move forward

Meh. 3rd game in 4 nights while Vegas was rested, and the Leafs still played fine for the most part.

Everyone would've signed off on 5 of 6 points before Saturday
Thought they were crap until the Marner goal - Kallgren was the only reason that was a close game up until that moment.

After the Kallgren save on Carrier, I would have taken a point then.

Sorry I mean triangle. Reilly has to defend the middle. There's no man on man there, his man wasn't even in the play.
Nailed it! Reilly doesn’t need to play man on man when the immediate threat from the turnover is down the middle. He has zero hockey IQ.

They went 12-2 last November….

Yes but they don’t go on those very long streaks. They’ll rattle off a 5 or at most a 6 game win streak. You never see them go on a 8-9 game streak.

It’s not a shot at the team and it doesn’t really matter. Just an observation I thought was interesting when comparing this team to other contenders.

You cant win consistently in this league with AHL goaltending

Good goalies make those kind of great saves when needed.
They only had 20 shots in goal.
I dont blame kallegren he is only a minor league goalie. I blame dubas for trading for a goalie who has injury issues the last three years. Dubas mistake was not having an adequate backup if murray went down again.you would have thought dubas would have learned from his mrazek debacle

Pretty incredible how awful he's looked on 2-on-1s for several years now.

Take the pass, leave the goalie the shot. He tries to take away both, and ends up stopping neither.
