I think for what it was it was a good game. 2 goals on 5 powerplays - not so good, but 1 goal on 4 penalty kills, really good. usually that's where we get hammered. We got tired around the 10 minute mark of the third, but I think that's to be expectd as conditioning isn't "there" yet. Go. us.

LOL i'm not a percentage girl, but I mean. out of 5 powerplays, we scored 2. Which is decent. But it would have been good to have made that 3 of 5. Or at least generate more pressure. That's all I mean.

9 min for Kadri and 18 min for Grabo and Kulemin to be crappy.

Only 9 min?? Man it seemed like he was out there for a lot more than that!

Good game from Gunnarsson, Liles, Kadri and the whole Kessel line.

Phaneuf had one mistake, but it was a horrible one.

Scrivens was pretty good in the net. Just terrible when he wasn't, though.

Grabs and Kuli looked like they were confused all night.

And as good as Kostka was tonight, I still question the way he was used tonight. I don't think he has the talent to play this much as still be reliable. I also don't like him on the PP. He's not fast enough, he doesn't have a great shot and his vision seems to be lacking. I'd rather see him play 12-15 minutes and see Phaneuf-Liles and Franson-Gunnarsson or maybe one of our forwards run the PP points.

The PK was great for the most part, but I think the Habs are worst on their PP... so it helped to look good.

Not enough block shots though. A couple shots from the point got through. That won't fly with our goaltending.

Well it could still be a few games so we should get a better idea of who are weakest dman is. If Kostka keeps playing like this it definitely won't be him that sits. Very impressed by his play.

I liked what I saw from Komarov though. Kadri looked solid.
