Bit of a sloppy game but we were the better team for 50 minutes.

Scrivens looked shaky but got the job done. Wouldn't be surprised to see Reimer start on Monday.

Kadri was amazing. Puck followed him everywhere, he was physical, made great plays, glad to see him get a shot! Kostka was solid and surprisingly so was Komisarek. Kessel was buzzing around all night. Franson was impressive and made some nice plays except for that dumb penalty he took on the smurf. And I love Komarov already.

JVR was underwhelming and so was the Grabovski line. But good start to the season!

Kadri is on a GPG pace! Kessel is on pace to beat Gretzky's assist record! We are undefeated! We are 1st place!! ;) haha
 
Wow, what a huge difference defensively from last year. We certainly don't look like contenders for the cup yet, but I am excited about being a Leafs fan this year!
 
Habs game should be just free points. All we have to do is show up, that team is just no good against us.

They got grit? I barely noticed Prust or Armstrong doing anything.

I liked the PK, McClement looks good so far.

Kessel was the star on offense. Defense was good overall but I thought Phaneuf could have been better but it could be because he was not with Gunnar.

Overall, good win, can't complain, 2 points are 2 points.

Oh and one last thing, Kadri is here to stay. Loved everything about that line. Komarov really finishes all his checks. ALL OF THEM.
 
My heart is still pounding! Not good, as it's only been a week since my heart attack. I was relaxed at 2-0!!!
 
Overall a pretty bad game. 1st period was very good, 2nd was ok, 3rd was horrible. Kadri and the 3rd line was awesome, 2nd line was completely invisible. First game though so can't judge much.

Grabo line not very good
Not a very good 3rd period but the Habs needed to be desperate.
Kadri was great.

Oh well a win is a win. Nice start.
 
Garbo line bad. Ended last minute strong though. JVR did not impress so much.
 
Didn' t surprise me at all that JVR - Kadri - Komarov line WORKS.

great game by us, carlyle's playbook and kostka with the fine game!

Wonder if they play scrivens against Buffalo. I'm hoping not.

But don't change the lineup. Keep the kulemin line too, they'll (will have to() get better and they do. Because they get paid.
 
Man, the Habs goal song is brutal.

Luckily they won't have to hear it very often this year. :laugh:
 
Pretty decent game, VERY GLAD to get the win :yo: Grabo had a bad game, Kadri looked good for the most part.
