I'd be careful making too many changes to the lineup in the playoffs after a win.

I woud as well. But I would make those changes regardless of wins and losses.

Also, forwards, these are easy to change. Robertsson already played few playoff games and Brooks have looked good

Inserting Engvall was a good decision. We should insert another young blood

I don’t understand the dislike towards Marner. He got an apple and he’s doing alright defensively. Leave him be. I get it $11 million but the Leafs are winning and he’s not hurting them. Even without playing his best he’s still helping the team produce. Good players produce even when they don’t look spectacular. He’s also getting several looks. Last game he put a good shot on net from the Nylander feed and Price just pulled a Price. Cant do shyt about that.
This game people are saying he should have shot but there was no opening on that one play and he was on his backhand. He’s not Joe Sakic ffs. It was the right percentage play to try to create a play

Nash was fine in his role. I think Robertson would struggle with the pace.

I disagree. He has no defined role. Just because he's bottom 6 doesn't mean he's not expected to be on the ofensive zone or try to be offensive. Days of Bill Berg are long gone.

I have no problem with the role, the thing is he looks slow. Especially against a team like the Habs, you have to be able to skate

Habs = columbus last year
Leafs need to keep up the high pace and dont settle. Thornton stinks. Enough already. Keefe feels guilty to bench him but if he had balls he would.
Need to win the next game to wrap this up in Toronto

Great win, the odds keep getting stacked against us with injuries and we've been able to dig deep. Need to come back and win tomorrow, its just as crucial.

Caufield is gonna be a problem when he figures out how to find space 5 on 5.
Caufield is already their best forward

Embarrassing third period... took a lot of the excitement out of the win to be honest, really not a win we deserved.

That said, big props to Campbell on big night, and credit to the boys for a great first 40 with tough injuries to fight through... Let's get our heads out of our asses and get it together for tomorrow

How do we not deserve the win, what did montreal really do in the first 40 mins of the game. Price bailed them out and prevented a 4-1 lead heading into the third.

The team could have played the third better, but they weren't trying to play to score, more to limit montreal. Did it well last game and montreal was obivously gonna come hard and they played well.

Just like price keeping his team in, Cambell got us the win, well deversed.

Robertson doesn’t look good to me. His hustle and work ethic is undeniable but his skating is so laboured and he struggled to get open looks. Maybe he could generate something but he’s chasing the game.
