Hey guys, you were right that strong side thing on the powerplay is money. Those passing lanes were something else. Who knows what this game would have looked like if that system didn't rack up goals man.

We all thought that Edmonton powerplay was good now, just wait till Edmonton hears about these passing lanes and all the....well not goals that's for sure, but definitely passing lanes this powerplay set up generates! The results are magnificent. I say we stick with it try it again on the canes and TBL. Trying the same thing and expecting different results may be defined differently by some, but my definition is genius.

Sorry if this is too sarcastic or negative, but it is a real downer seeing the sens lose to the Leafs when they needed a W. It isn't the powerplays fault in reality. Goals would have helped, but if anything it was goaltending, a dash of Nick Holden, and a few players asleep in both ends(not solely batherson, but I kind of sorta want to call him out. He played bad)

That is very true. We have nothing back there. Zilch. Nada.

Bring back Formenton and find another winger who can score more than 5 frikkin' goals over 80 games.
Formenton was the perfect 3rd line player and a dangerous threat on the PK.

With Norris back it would have pushed Pinto to the 3rd line. A 3rd line of Forms and Pinto and player X would have been the best case scenario with the addition the Sens had already made for this season.

Formenton Pinto Connor Brown would have been fantastic... I don't know how it would fit $ wise. It was likely doable.

They didn't play a bad game and got stymied by Samsonov a few times.

Just sucks they let it slip when Pit and NYI lost before.

If they get a new coach, better goaltending, and Dorion improves the bottom 6, then my expectation is 45 wins next season. They will get 39-40 probably this year, so a 5-6 win improvement. Hopefully they can stay healthy because the top end pieces are in place - obviously Norris being in the lineup helps a lot even if he is "only" a 25 goal guy.

dorion is f***ing gone

Coming the game after the Sens posted a game with only 11 shots against which is the lowest total in the NHL for any team this season. Well done.

Maybe tennis is more your thing
You nit picked 1 game, congrats. Our team continually has the same defensive zone breakdowns and turnovers, game after game (sorry game after almost every game). Holden x2 tonight on the goals … but sure, they held the shitty flyers to 11 shots AND STILL HAD TO WIN IN OT

I mean, we could have had at least 2 of Formenton, Paul, Brown and Pinto should be on the 3rd line so yeah.
So Pinto. Formenton and Paul where in the system before the rebuild started. Not being argumentative, it just seems f***ed that all our players came from basically 1 draft.

I hate losing to the Laffs but I ain't to upset about it, right now Toronto is better then us but it's that simple, but the time is coming where we will be the better team so hey good news is that Sens season is almost over then the fun begins with a new owner(s) and probably new management and coaches for next season!

Tkachuk says everyone left it all out there, Maybe but not what I saw. They are better than what they showed tonight.
Timmy echoes the worked really hard message. Had the looks and didn't score on their chances

no way someone is going to buy this team for near a billion dollars and keep Dorion and DJ.

The timing is not looking good and quite frankly most of these buyers don’t know dick about hockey. Status quo is quick and easy.

I would be shock though if DJ and Dorion are back, why would the new owners would want to keep them around?

Both are going to be back… the New owners don’t know either PD or DJS, or the players any better than you or I do…. It would be foolish to buy the team, and immediately make drastic changes…. They’ll let thing stay set for the next season, and once they get to know the inner workings and the team dynamics, they’ll make any required changes.

Sorry
