Well those are methods that would turn seats from blue to red. If a season seat holder can’t resell it they are more likely to show up then leave the seat empty.

If it is gio locked people in between GTA and Ottawa won’t be able to buy them leading to only ottawa residents makes it more likely it will be a red seat
I don't think the problem is largely from out of towners. It's the in town Leaf fans that are gobbling most of the tickets.

I watched late but fell asleep in the second period. I won’t bother watching the rest.

Shutouts suck.

Shutouts against the leafs suck more.

Shutouts against the leafs in our barn suck more than more.

Shutouts against the leafs in our barn that put the dagger in faint playoff hopes are the worst.

Until we meet the leafs in the playoffs. Then a shutout will be worse than worse.

Apparently Sogaard was sick, not sure why he was playing in the first place then?

i feel like you couldnt with a straight face start talbot after the game he had vs the flyers while trying to tell the team that you are putting them in the best position to win

Holden was by far our worst defenceman tonight in a lineup with three rookies. It's been obvious for months that he can't play at this level, and yet they keep putting him in the lineup.

How much better would this team have been if they simply didn't play the veterans that we know can't keep up?

Outdated weight. There’s more, but I’ll stop there.

Rough game for Holden and Kleven pairing.

But I thought JBD looked decent.

I did not think Kleven looked as bad as that picture paints. I thought he defended quite well and showed some good patience to make plays with the puck. Who else you get stuck out there with against the better opposition makes a difference too.

JBD steady eddy again. Hopefully he plays well enough to finish the year here although I would not mind seeing some of Guenette as well.

Tampa has been the final three years in a row, they are bound to run out of gas.

It isn't a given of course but I'm expecting Toronto to win. I'll be elated if they lose in the first round so I hope I'm wrong.

It is just supply and demand. Demand for games involving the Scabs and Laughs is much higher than normal.
I don't like it either; however It increases the Senators revenues and thus makes them profitable for the owner. It helps keep the team in town. :)

Here’sa quote from Wayne scanlan’s article

Turns out Sogaard had been feeling ill even before the game, and he was gone by the third period, the last goaltending calamity of this season that has seen six different Ottawa netminders. Cam Talbot finished up the third, stopping all four shots he faced.

“He tried to gut it out,” head coach D.J. Smith said of Sogaard with his illness. “He couldn’t, but what are you going to do? We’ve got to find a way to win tomorrow. It’s that simple.”

Hey DJ, if your starting goalie who happens to be a rookie isn’t feeling well, maybe don’t start him?? Especially when you’re fighting for your playoff lives??? SMH..

Perhaps it speaks more to Talbot’s game but that is bold to play a rookie goalie WHO isn’t feeling well over a veteran goalie who had a bad first game back from injury…and it didn’t work

Especially when your vet is right there. Why put a sick kid in net and if you lose people point the finger at him. Put Talbot in net and let him take the fall if he sucks ass again

It's not like Brady's presence has been deterring it. He gets targeted every shift.
We need a 4th line policeman who can be played on the 1st line with Stutzle and Tkachuk when warranted. Plus if the other team targets our skilled players we need to respond using the same approach if the league continues to permit it. Bryan Murray understood that!

Tkachuk should stick to playing hockey to avoid breaking his hands. Chara made that adjustment after he hurt himself acting as the policeman.

Brady is a very good all-round hockey player, but he's not near good enough to carry a 4th line fighter on his line. If it's the case where we need an enforcer, you just have to throw out the 4th line as it is.

I like Watson but I'd like an actual fighter on this team.

Loved Carkner for this reason, he'd just f*** you up if you touched the all star.

Stu’s not moving from Brady, need some protection from people trying to run him.
He’s still getting run lol. Not saying he should or shouldn’t move from Brady but Brady didn’t stop the flyers from targeting stutzle. Or any other team.

The 4th line policeman would only play with Tkachuk and Stutzle or any other line when and where a message needs to be sent; it would not need to be permanent, just temporary. Like Semenko or McSorley playing with Gretzky.

I like Watson too for his physical play and blocking shots; however he is not a VG fighter and a bit too slow as a PKer.

For next season I could go with a physical 4th line such as:

Policeman - Kastelic - Watson

Our 3rd line could be:

Formenton - Pinto - Joseph; however Joseph might have to go due to budget and cap reasons.

Not many players like that lol. Just need him on a line and then have those goons on the ice next time the other teams top players are on the ice. Yeah you’ll get hemmed in your zone lol but hope your goalie freezes the puck the other team starts a little scrum and then just settle business.

Brady challenged Gudas and he wouldn’t go, but had a lot of words for him, and that was the end of Gudas running around for the night.

Don't need one to necessarily play the top line but one where you can throw over the boards to settle things down and ideally is a 13th forward.

I like Reaves. Guy is a beast

But what happens when Brady is the one that gets hit? Schenn went knee on knee with him, nobody does shit.

We may have a cohesive locker room, but Brady is the only one policing anything, I can't recall a time where someone stood up for him this season.

That's my point, Gretzky can make any of us forum posters not be plugs. I think McDavid is the only one right now that can make guys like Kassian and Chiasson score 15-20 goals.

I'd a be a fan of that bottom 6. I really wanted Deslauriers this year but wouldn't have been okay with the contract Philly gave him.

It depends on the team you are playing whether the policeman dresses or not. If the opponent is a physical team you dress the policeman.

If the other team starts to target our skilled players for big hits, the policeman goes on the ice next shift to respond in kind.
