So based on his history of injuries and based on his injuries this year, I think anyone who says Campbell can be our #1 next year really need to take that into consideration. As much as I like the guy and I think he has the skill to do it, I just don't see his body/head/whatever ails him, being able to hold it together for 50+ games.

If Campbell was given the role as 1A we would need to HEAVILY insulate him with a 1B that could handle big minutes if Campbell goes down, which is basically after every game he plays
Hard to blame him on the two ridiculous head shots. Tkachuk and Ennis.

Hopefully he heals up and has no concussion-like symptoms.

Hutch's new mask is sick and looks like a winner

Ya but he just did the music note cujo mask right? I'm talking the mask he used the rest of his career. Cujo's dog mask has got to be on everyone's Mt Rushmore for top masks of all time

Actually no, it was the Cujo dog mask:

As far as I know neither are the result of headshots. The Tkackuck play was definitely a leg injury, and Saturdays injury is a complete wildcard.

It's quite comical reading all of the complaining about our 1-0 PP advantage on Saturday night in their GDT and acting like that's typical for the Leafs to get the calls.

The same Leafs that have 68 power plays to 68 times short handed. While the Oilers have 81 PPs to 71 PK during the same stretch.

We sure are the one's with the PP advantage!

After leg injury, in scrum Tkachuk fell on his head.

Ennis accidentally on purpose drove his knee right into Campbell's head. Video above shows clear as day.

No call on play.

Anyway. Injuries happen, it just sucks that we've played like 3 games total in years with our full roster.

It should've been 2-0 PP. McJesus got away with one.

Neither were injuries though.

He was out due to the leg injury, not the head. As far as we know, his head is fine.

So true. I honestly can't remember an obvious penalty missed on both sides, outside of Draistal cross checking Marner in open ice. I thought the Refs were fine.

I was just looking for that gif... he cross checks him then mugs him no penalty. Someone posted it the other day and i couldn't find it.

There was also a play in the first period, I believe Kerfoot may have ran interference or a trip, but he got away with it. Kinda funny bc early in season he was even penalised for phantom calls.

Evens out. Drai said himself they didn't deserve a single PP even if there could've been a call.

Did you see any play last game that made you think he re-aggravated his leg injury?
He was definitely getting up slow several times on that same leg. It's pretty clear he was favoring it.

That said, I don't think Ennis meant to run him over. We should know full well he isn't that kind of player. Plus, Holl kinda boxed him in and gave him nowhere to go.

Should be a suspension. Clear to see that won’t happen because of the team it happened to.

Thank you for answering a legit question.

I don’t see how a head injury could be a game time decision. That’s pretty reckless.
