No Matthews, no Simmonds, no Andersen or Campbell, 3rd string goalie in and at lot of guys already playing banged up against an Edmonton team that's probably going to be hungry. Doesn't look good. But on the other hand, could be a trap game for the oilers. Don't think we'll pull this out. Injuries are freaking killing us man. They're just piling up at the same time.

With hutch in net and a Fired up 97 we need to be playing extremely well defensively to win this. Play a bit conservative and dont take as many risks while 97 is on. Also should try and limit their PPs to 2 tops

We have the depth to go and try and play a neutral game vs 97 and then beat on Oilers lines 3 and 4 and to an extent line 2.

Go leafs Go. Hopefully hutchinson isnt too bad

The thing with Engvall is he is a good skater, has a long reach, so he just kind of annoyingly pushes you to less dangerous areas without getting physical or causing you any real concern of getting hit. If he does engage physically, it’s like getting smothered by a bean bag for 5 seconds. He has decent IQ and can score when in good position. But he just annoys me the way he just skates with his stick outstretched. Maybe I’m being too picky because it was effective with Hyman and Soup as linemates last game.

I personally have enjoyed Engvall this season so far. He is progressing every game. I like his speed and size. Hes been throwing the body around more. If he could only unleash his shot more. There may be something more to his game. I wouldnt mind seeing him play with one of our top 2 centers to see how his game really translates to theirs.
