The argument that pre season is for getting timing, game shape applies to every team, yet the Habs seem to be the only team that can't seem to get their shit together.
Name me one prospect that has been lights out? Some have been ok but none have stood out other than maybe Reinbacher.

Those who predicted a bottom 5 finish seem to know what they are talking about.

Teams get their crap together in pre season, except for the Habs. They win one pre season game every couple of years.
My fear is that if MTL keeps tanking they go the BUF road and that would be really Bad...

Watching Minten and Knies operate is very embarrassing. But hey we got Mesar. The it's only pre season is no excuse for little to no execution.

Our scrubs will also get hot enough at points during the year to ensure we're out of contention to grab a WOW type prospect at the draft.
Dude. Its not that we don't have or never had wow prospects.

When we have them, we boo them, call them bust, call for their demotion and then we wake up one day and they are great players.

Price, Subban, Caufield.

Board have been in shambles for year with Guhle and some now are claiming he is a 1D, top 15D in the league.

Its happening right now with Slaf and Reinbacher. How can you look at these guys and not be excited by their potentials? (Apart from the Wright and Michkov bias?)

Habs bring too many players during the preseason. There is no strats or plans because they amount of players is just too much. 90% of the players have been completely lost out there.

I get it we need to test them but man letting players like Stephens playing 2 preseason games is absolutely useless.

Barron has great advanced stats tonight, but he's had a few hiccups. Been looking better as the game goes along. Is it enough to win a second pair spot though?

Unless you want to argue that Kovacevic and Savard has shown more or have been better, then yes, seems like its enough

To be fair that's why they have basically a week off before the final pre-season game.
