Both parts of the Muzzin/Holl shutdown pairing have struggled this year with consistency.

I'm curious if Keefe is going to try and pair Lyubushkin with Muzzin and see what happens, which at the same time pushes Holl into the bottom pairing.

Wonder if the coach sees the new guy as a top 4 dman or has him as a #5, #6 or even #7 and on some rotational basis with Dermott/Sandin and Lilly.

It's pretty obvious he sees Holl now as a bottom pair. I would expect the new guy to get a chance beside Muzzin.

Seeing Holl as a bottom pairing Dman on a regular basis and out of the top 4, where his skillset should have him ranked on a team with playoff aspirations is already a Win Win for the Leafs.
