Well that’s nice to wake up to after an awful nights sleep 👍
I was literally gonna post this lmao. My dog kept me all night cause hes not feeling well.... now work. Glad to hear this news tho, gives me some joy

I guess they don’t want him that bad. Kinda my point

That’s how it works. It’s not like Tampa is some infallible organization. They’ve let very good players go before, and made some terrible transactions as well. They let McDonagh go, only to realize they needed him and required him as one example. How about the Tanner Jeannot trade, where they basically traded a whole draft years worth of picks for a fourth liner?

Who knows if the Chayka era is going to work out, but at least it’s more entertaining than the Treliving is having a nap era.

Thank you for your services Morgan, I wonder how long until that trade is announced?

based on how quickly Chayka has working I'll say 72 hours.

Woll was 48 hours ago but this trade is more complicated

How about we offer up Mo for Raddysh’s rights?
I had thought about that as well, but I think Mo ends up out west. I’m not sure what the cost is going to be here, maybe Carlo as a RHD for them, Maccelli rights or mid round pick.

Carlo has value, be it with the team or as a trade piece, Mo not so much so I wouldn’t offer anything but Mo or Myers because that might entice Tampa, but imo not giving them a real asset of value to the team or something that can get a return in another trade.

The Last time we say a sign and trade it was Marner for Roy.

So I wonder if we see something simalar like Jousha, Lorentz or Domi, Maybe Carlo but I doubt it, hasn't Carlo played for Hiller?

a team like the lightning with one of the smartest front office & coach don’t want to retain the same 70 point right d, their leading point getter from the back end. The same team that has an aging Hedman & Mcdonagh & were decimated by injuries to their defensive group last year. 🚩
Why do you think the Lightning don't want to retain him?

My guess is Mo’s vale will be higher than what we spend on trading for Raddysh.

IF, he’s onboard with the location. Tampa is a perennial contender and a tax friendly state coached by a legit guy, imo not ticking that many boxes anywhere else.

My guess is 7 x 9.5, which to me is a somewhat scary contract for a guy that just put up half of his career total points in a single season.....at the age of 30.
I think he is a one year wonder, Kucherov did all the works for him on the PP. This deal is going to be really ugly within a couple of years.

Hopefully the rising cap relieve the pain just a little bit.

wait for the contract before you say that
I care less about the contract and more about the trade piece.

I could see Carlo. Another RD cheap for TB. Maybe that philly 3rd going too.

I woke up and in horror thought Knies, but no one could be that stupid .

Right guys?

Right!!??

We have Willy, Matty and possibly Mck on our top unit.
He will still be a PP merchant and open up way more opportunities.
The Leafs have not had a legit QB in the 10 years we have had Willy and Matty.
This PP will be top 5 if healthy
