This is the best damned game I've seen the Leafs team play in YEARS.
Played a whole sixty minutes - they tried to mess with our players, we totally kicked their butts. And this is the play that I want to see every day.

We dominated on the faceoffs
We dominated in the offensive zone
We dominated in the defensive zone.
We got two powerplay goals. (one on the five on three)

they need to tape this game and show it to the team, before every freaking game.

GO. LEAFS. GO.

definitely a good game by the leafs:yo:

Is this also considered as a Double Dion?

He hit Galchenyuk harder but Moen is the one that goes flying?

Love how hard the team worked to kill off that 4 minute penalty to preserve Reimer's SO.

Yeah, that cannot go unnoticed at well.

I don't know how a team can play more of a complete game than we did last night. Hopefully Carlyle keeps the team level headed into this next one against Philly. Don't take anything for granted.

Prust last night reminded me of Komi's first game as a Leaf when he seemed to be on a mission against the Habs but everything he did blew up in the Leafs face.:D

Great win guys. Man oh man that was fun to watch lol! Not only is the rivalry back; but wins like this can galvanize a team and make them way better. I seen it happen to the Bruins the year we won it all (thx again Brooksy, for calling the B's pssy's in the NY Times. They needed that lol!), and I seen it again last night. That's what a hockey team looks like.

The Habs and their cry baby fans are only solidifying you even further with their salty tears and lobbying the league (via the media no less lol!) for suspensions. They'll never learn and they'll never change. It's great.

I know you know what I mean when I say I absolutely loathe that team and their fans. So don't forget to really rub it in their faces every chance you get. They deserve all the **** we give em.

Anyway, an even bigger test is coming. Should be fun. The Leafs don't need to be taking any **** off those dooshes from Philly either. Your building should be electric next game. Have fun and ride the lightning all the way to the playoffs. We'll see you there ;)

The only thing to top off tonight would have been if Subban went and triple low fived price at the end.

Would have been freaking hilarious

It was pretty cool to hear Kadri comparing to Gilmour. If his prime is a fraction of Gilmour's I would be ecstatic. Some aspects of this team already seems similar to 93 - there is a Burnsie style coach in Carlyle and JVR resembles Andreychuk to some degree..

Still feels good. Nice to be on the winning end of a blow out. I kinda feel like a Bruins fan after they played us last year.

This biting incident is helping the Habs avoid the negative attention from being destroyed last night.

In all fairness, that was Cole (72) and initially it looked like he was retaliating on the Galchenyuk hit by Dion (nice stiff check) but if you look closely again, Cole was actually looking at the puck and turned into Dion - just another one of those circus moments for the Habnots last night.

Glad to see fellow Leafers finally on board with our truculent 4th line.... It was sad to see last week's thread about why we have orr/mcclaren playing on our team and that they just take up space. They do so much for our team.... Players that take up space? See: David Steckel

:handclap: Exactly. Steckel should be waived.
