Lol what? When he was thrown into Reimer, Kostka took care of Gallagher. Dion's job isn't to go into the penalty box, specially for a guy like Prust. We need him to play.

Exactly, Kostka took care of him, which impressed me greatly. But Phaneuf did nothing about getting thrown onto Reimer.

One of the more satisfying wins in recent memory.

Just want to say Bozak is a monster on faceoffs this year.

Has contributed a lot to the team this year as the Leafs are 4th in overall team faceoff win %, almost tied with Detroit for 3rd. With Toronto having the most faceoff wins in the league.

I hope the buds can bring the same energy against the B's at their home rink and please improve our home record.

Burn the boats!

Carlyle is really helping this team find their identity and they are playing for each other.

Last few years it felt like the forwards were doing one thing, the D was doing another thing and the goalie just owned every night.

Reimer is .929SV right now and playing fantastic. Amazing what confidence can do for you.

You gotta love Don Cherry. He may not always be right, but he sure as hell is entertaining.

Like wtf, who would have thought of three amigos?:laugh:

To the guys saying Phaneuf did nothing when guys were in reimer's face, that's not true. When Gionta was on the doorstep trying to bang in a pass, kulemin came in from behind to check him. Gionta tried to fall purposely onto reimer and kulemin noticed this so he redirected his fall to the side. The Phaneuf noticed this, and it being Gionta (with his past history and such) grabbed him from behind and ****ing drove his face into the ice. I took great pleasure in watching this, as its exactly what I would've done.

Everyone stood up for everyone this game. We beat the **** out of them on the score sheet and beat the **** out of them physically.

This is why Reimer is the future of the Leafs goaltending:

“I don’t think I’ve played phenomenal this year. I’ve played well, I’ve done what I’ve needed to do. I don’t think I’m standing on my head every night. It’s not like I’m 8-and-0. I’m 5-and-3. I feel like I’m doing well, but there are so many things I can improve on. There were mistakes I need to learn from.”

He may have shortcomings but he'll work his butt off to fix them. He never lets a bad goal faze him and completely unravel. He'll be right back up and get ready for the next shot.

To play goalie for the Leafs you have to be one tough person mentally...and Reimer has that in spades. He's never too high of himself when he's winning, never too low when he's losing.

I hope we lock him up for 5 years. 5 years at 3-3.5M like is a good deal.

Stay humble forever Reimer.

And he ALWAYS gives the credit to the team for wins like this.
I really like him. I'm glad Allaire didn't ruin him too much.

Love Reimer's attitude. Can't help but be a big fan of his. Glad he is doing really well this year. He is a very good goaltender, and I'm happy he is on this team.

Don't know if this was posted yet but amazing quote from Randy Carlyle

"Well Prust, We know what kind of player he is and he goes out and cheap shots Grabovski what are we supposed to do? Were not suppose to play the rest of our players the rest of the night? Well they got another thing coming that is not happening to our group." - Randy Carlyle

Love that makes me think we are finally becoming a tougher team to play against. (Also kind of funny how people were saying Montreal was the team that got bigger last off season.)

Ya, I posted it earlier but this warrants a re-post. Carlyle is the type of coach that doesn't take **** from no one.

Reimer is steadily improving. He hasn't let in any soft goals for a few games now, and that's exactly what we need from him moving forward. He doesn't need to stand on his head for our team to be competitive, he just needs to be consistent and maintain his focus.

I think it's quite clear that Allaire was the problem and caused Reimer to regress, but he's young enough to get his career back on track.

I'd say his concussion may have had some effect as well haha. Not saying Allaire had no negative effects, but I doubt he had NO positives effects either.

People just don't know how important Colton Orr is to our team, I remember sticking up for him and thanking him for his years of service when he was put on waivers last year, I really thought someone was going to claim him off waivers. Burke deserves credit for supporting Orr to rise, again. His impact to this team is not measured easily, but is invaluable.

Phcuk Ron Wilson wherever you are.

Is there anywhere online that you can watch the repeat?

I have the full game its about 2 gigs in 720p, if you guys know any good uploading sites ill upload it there. Infact i've got all the Leaf win games this season all in 720p HD they're roughly 1.5 to 2 gb each tried to upload them onto youtube but it takes for ever. so if anyone knows a better method of uploading do let me know.

It might honestly be better to just upload the file by itself, youtube is one of few good options for HD.

Reimer wasn't himself last year even before the concussion. Remember the 3rd period meltdown against Ottawa in the opener? That was very uncharactersitic of him.

Absolutly love the smurfs crying. They want Prust/Armstrong to cheap shot grabo and Kadri. They can try but the fact is we have been and will always be stronger than them. Threw Gallagher around like the punk he is, nearly ended Bourque with ONE PUNCH and man handled that **** talking Gorges. The habs can cry and moan all they want about how this all happened in the third but the fact is, refs were holding the leafs back from fighting when Prust and Gallagher were starting **** during the first and second period.

Hey Habs, Deal with it. :yo:

The whole team was playing like crap in that meltdown as well, so he isn't the only to be blamed
