Grabovski won't be suspended. Burrows wasn't suspended and his was a clear bite. All you see here is Pacioretty shoving is arm into Grabo's mouth and nose.

I doubt Grabo was even able to breathe, Pacioretty was like suffocating him. If Grabo did bite him, I would have done the same thing

Grabitesky went out there chomping at the bit last night, a lot of bite to his game. Hopefully he goes out next game as hungry as he was against Montreal.

Fraser got beat up by a guy prust who weighs 100 pounds less wow that's gotta hurt.
Ummm Prust gives up 4 inches in height, both are listed as the same weight on one site, 28 pnds differnt on another.
One has 26 fights in the last 2 yrs, the other has 18, lol. So both have been known to drop the gloves ALOT!!
Also one has I think you need to rewatch the fight as Prust did not win that one

Give credit where credit is due. Gorges stood up to unbeatable odds for his team. Admired what he did.

Absolutely. Takes a lot of heart to stand up to a guy like McLaren.

Forgive me but I won't be giving any credit to Gorges or admiring anything he did. There are two facts that I can take away from yesterday night: 1) Gorges was utterly embarrassed, getting laughed at by McLaren during the entire fight, and 2) Gorges whined to the Montreal media in post-game interviews, inexplicably telling Grabovski to drop his gloves and be a man, when in fact he was already doing so with Prust.

Gorges has not earned any respect from me.

Because of all the other great stuff that happened, people are really overlooking what Reimer did last night. He made save after save when the Habs were turning up the pressure in the second period and the game was still within reach for them. Difficult saves, saves through traffic, partial breakaways, a clean 2-on-1. And best of all, he didn't allow Montreal even the smallest moral victory with their 4 minute powerplay at the end of the game.

It would have been an entirely different game if the Habs scored when it was only 2-0. This guy is for real.

It's funny because we still have more playoff victories then your embarrassment of a team since 93.

Anyway, does it hurt to sit down?

Totally agree. After they way they came out in the second, Reimer stood on his head for them. They make it 2-1 there and the crowd would have been right back into it.

Habs fans just won't stop the butthurt. I lost count of how many times I've seen Hab fans say "LOLZ this must be the only accomplishment for u guys since 2004!!". That's all they have to resort to, and it's quite pathetic. In the "Colton Orr Sucker Punch" thread, this one Leafs fan (doesn't post much) completely owned that Analyzer dude, who tbh is one of the more rational Hab fans on these boards.

I'm reading this a lot from dirt bag fans like yourself. "7 years of embarrassment" and so on. Look, whatever the Leafs have been through the past 7 years has absolutely nothing to do with the game last night. Oh, and by the way, the Leafs even with that 7 year drought still have more playoff series wins then your little habs since '96.

Hoping for a guys career to end just shows how your fan base is. Why don't the city of Montreal call the cops on Orr like they did to Chara last season for his hit on Pacioretty. Bunch of losers

feb 27th, mark the date.

I wouldn't... Cause I'm a habs fan. Habs won't address anything. Same line up.

I'll probably get trolled instead of decent responses so I'll leave after this.

Leafs dominated in every aspect. Great game and congrats. Kadri may have been pointless, but I thought he did well.

What impressed me the most was how great the leafs were on the faceoffs. The way to be a great team is by starting with the puck more than the other team.

Anyways, great game and good luck on the rest of the season

Also, I can see why Armstrong was bought out. The guy is terrible and I think he'll have a very hard time getting work in the NHL after this season.

To the guy above.

Yeah, I said that, but it wont happen. Sucker punches shouldn't be part of the game. I even said that with White on Fleischmann. Honestly, though. How else is Montreal to deal with Orr when he's allowed to drop his gloves and start throwing punches ? Bring Laraque back ?

So pathetic and embarrassing... Laraque and the habs.

The crowd and the team, both

And then there would have been no frustration and eventual meltdown by the Habs. And we'd be talking about a close game that was hard-fought (and maybe even the Habs pulling out a win) instead of the Leafs' most dominant performance in recent memory.

Does anyone know if Kaberle was playing taht game? I didn't hear his name once.

No he wasn't. Even if he was, he would have been hiding in the dressing room for the rest of the game the moment the rough stuff started.

The game is in Toronto, I think we all know how we do in that building, wouldn't be surprised to see a Montreal blowout next time.

Considering we don't see players to screen Reimer and I doubt Scrivens will play anytime soon...

Next time, beat up Armstrong. **** that guy sucks.

Armstrong is just a shell of his former self. When the Leafs signed him for 3M/year over 3 years it was overpayment but we at least hoped he would do what he did for Pittsburgh and Atlanta.

It seems like most players just want to get paid and then do nothing.

Komarov has been much better at his job than Armstrong. Armstrong is very injury prone, hardly ever pisses the other team off, and he doesn't have those hits in him anymore.

He didn't play, and generational-talent PP-specialist-extraordinaire top-10-in-the-league Markov was a pylon all night. Maybe he was worried about Grabovski ending his career with another clean hit.

Armstrong is what he is, a useless hockey player anymore but a good guy in the dressing room to have around a young hockey team.

Yeah, Armstrong is a fractured version of himself. His first season here, he was actually pretty decent when he was healthy and made a difference for the club. I still remember that one Boston game where he was making crybaby faces to Chara and we won that game in a shootout  One of his only good moments as a Leaf. He was also a pretty good PKer with Bozak (though our PK was garbage still..), and he even had a few hot streaks scoringwise. Despite having 1 pt in his first 9 games, he finished with 23 pts in 50 games, good for 0.5PPG.

Last season though...that was just a ****ing disaster. Slowed down a lot, injuries took their toll, and that beatdown by Seidenberg was just depressing.

I think he's done now. He can't handle the NHL anymore.

I gotta say, this game was so beautiful it brought tears of joy. We steamrolled them from the very first minute. And i don't see an issue with the biting incident. I don't know what else Grabovski could've done there.

We have endured so much embarrassment over the last 8 years we deserve to win every game all the way to the Stanley cup celebrations just like last night

Honestly though, twice last night his own teammates got tackled (one where he was thrown onto Reimer, the other when Prust IIRC threw a double handed cross check at our Dman's face) and Phaneuf just skated past the Hab and complained to the ref. If you're the captain, you scrum the **** out of those Hab players that did that **** and drop your gloves if you're supposed to be a menacing, tough D man. He didn't, he just whined to the ref, and I was left extremely disappointed by him.

Lol what? When he was thrown into Reimer, Kostka took care of Gallagher. Dion's job isn't to go into the penalty box, specially for a guy like Prust. We need him to play.
