It was total and complete annihilation. That's maybe the best regular season game we have played post lockout.

Saw that embarassing MTL rap video. Lost all respect for Viggo Mortensen. Wtf how the hell is Strider a Habs fan? Screw strider. I bet Sam aka Rudy is a Leafs fan.

Was just lurking on the Habs board, and it seems that some of them have already regretted signing Colby...LOL

As a person I think Colby is a great guy, and if it were any other team that signed him, I would wished him the best of luck going forward in his career. But as soon as he donned those Hab colours and went on record with the whole "I want to kick their *****" debacle, I can't help but have a big smile on my face with what has transpired so far with him this early in the season.

Is that wrong for me to feel this way?

On the Bozak goal, JVR has some nice shifty hands around the net. That was a slick and quick pass off to Bozak for the easy finish. Great player.

JVR wasnt drafted 2nd overall for nothing.

He has a ton of skill and size, just never found any consistency. Hopefully Carlyle fixes that, and we have a gem.

You can't really find consistency if you are bounced around from line to line.

JvR was never given the opportunity to succeed in a top 6 role over a long time.

Over here the story is entirely different. He'll always be in the top 6.

I ******* HATE Viggo Mortensen. Everytime he's in town to promote a movie, he makes a point of bringing his musty old Habs jersey and obnoxiously draping his co-stars all in it. And you can tell that they feel totally awkward and uncomfortable when he does it.

I also hate that squinty eyed fish lipped little **** Jay Baruchel after he burned a Leaf jersey in a magazine article promoting Goon in some lame attempt to show off how proud of a Habs fan he is.

Needless to say... but I didn't watch Goon afterwards.

Ya they were pretty excited about having him in the opening night lineup. I knew that wouldn't last very long.

**** Jay Baruchel that little *******. Can't believe HNIC gave him his own segment that one time a few years back. What a joke.

I love this part
HURR DURR running up the score with stars HURR DURR
followed by
HURR DURR Sending out goons HURR DURR
They just cant hack it that our stars were better, and our tough guys were better

I would argue that our goons were better than their stars. Orr had more points this game than all habs players.

Patcioretty makes a big deal out of a clean hit, and how it should not be part of hockey, and then goes up and delivers this headshot less than a year later. Habs love to complain, but they are often the ones starting the ****.

This isn't about the Chara hit -- don't bring that stuff in here. You don't need to do that.

Grabo was defending himself. Plain and simple.

he was given top 6 opportunity in Philly, especially with Carter/Richards gone. The thing was wide open to step up.

komarov post game interview was just hilarious!!!

"it was an easy game for us"

and many more gems!

He wasn't trolling, he just doesn't have the language finesse to be politically correct - which came across as trolling haha.

Guys like JVR need to be forced to go in front of the net. While he has the ability to create from the perimeter with his shot and vision, his consistency will come from his hands and size in front of the net. Because he is someone timid, he needs someone to force him to get to the front. The coach ultimately has to delivery that message to a young player like JVR - thankfully we have a coach with enough experience that knows a guy of his size and talent will succeed in front of the net. As long as Carlyle keeps reinforcing this idea, I have no doubt that JVR will be a successful top 6 player.

I don't know about that... he did it in the KHL and was damn good at it. He strives to get under peoples skin.

I know he is an agitator on the ice, I just don't think his interview was meant to be trolling by saying the game was too easy lol.
