less then a half inch difference between him and Quinn Hughes.Fair point.
A question you may be able to answer that I can't. Has any d-prospect with these credentials at his size done it?

Calm inducing info, thanks.less then a half inch difference between him and Quinn Hughes.
He's doing that on every threads.You have to be shitposting here.
Imagine comparing Hutson to Jordan and Kobe.You have to be shitposting here. Imagine looking up Kobe quotes to try to dunk on a teenager and missing this badly.
Your the one comparing them,Imagine comparing Hutson to Jordan and Kobe.
He used comparables to illustrate a point of self belief, you used comparables to say they weren’t the same player. Your the one who used quotes ti say they aren’t comparable
What you mean? Caufield definitely too small for the NHLi remember when they said that about Caufield
Indeed, these points totals are not height-adjusted.With 44 points in 34 games, Lane Hutson is only 3 points removed from tying Brian Leetch's historic freshman season production with BC in 87-88 (47 points in 37 games).
Please also note he's really small and not that fast.
That is really important to remember while he's putting up the best season in the last 30+ years as a freshman in US college hockey.
The difference in skating is immense if were honest.less then a half inch difference between him and Quinn Hughes.
Why didn’t he get secondary assists on the first 2 goals?
1.18 meters makes it even more grotesqueIndeed, these points totals are not height-adjusted.
Brian Leetch is 1.85m, Lane Hutson is 1.78m.
Height adjusted points per game (HAP/g):
- Leetch: 47 x 1.85 = 86.95 HAP => 2.35 HAP/g
- Hutson: 44 x 1.18 = 51.92 HAP => 1.53 HAP/g
So, clearly not very impressive production when you factor in the HAP advanced metrics. And we haven't even adjusted (down) for SAP (speed-adjusted points).
I thought Luke Hughes had more points as a freshman ? I could be wrong. I’m very likely wrong but I thought Luke set a freshman record last year. Maybe it was just a Michigan record or whatever conference they play in? Either way , Hutson is a massive pick for the Habs . Very good value with that pick. I wanted him to fall to the Devils but it was not to be. Casey hopefully can catch up to Hutson next yearWith 44 points in 34 games, Lane Hutson is only 3 points removed from tying Brian Leetch's historic freshman season production with BC in 87-88 (47 points in 37 games).

In 41 games he had 17 goals and 22 assists for 39 points. It might be a Michigan record for D. He is probably in top 15 for all time D as well for freshman.I thought Luke Hughes had more points as a freshman ? I could be wrong. Different styles for sure. For all we know Faber could easily be the more effective pro. I don’t really care about the Hobey anymore.No offense to this kid who had a truly outstanding year, but he should not be the only D man in the final 10 over Brock Faber.
