ONTARIO!!!!!!!!! ( it's very dark )

I never knew there are parts of Ontario in the Central Time Zone
There are a lot of people that also don't realize part of the Florida panhandle is in Central time either

Just had my first corn on the cob of the season....so delicious! The weather has made the cobs massive. There is a farm about 10 minutes away that has the best sweet corn in the world, I kid you not. They grow it, pick it and the bins are full minutes afterwards. Get it home, shuck it and eat it within a few hours of it being picked. Nothing like it!

I planted some Thumbelina Zinnia’s on 8/1 in my click and grow garden and within 3 days they took off and I have 3 stems. Hoping that by the end of the month I’ll have some flowers. I planted these in a grow your own pod

I am not much for astrology, but have you ever read Heaven Knows What? by Grant Lewi?

It's *still* in print.
I hadn't, thanks for replying with it here. A quick look at the trailer is interesting.
This would be an interesting discussion of "intention setting" vs body based trauma..... I might use this in the future, thank u.

He's an interesting character.

Supposedly -- supposedly -- he predicted the day & time of his death. Just prior, he took out a life insurance policy.

I would only add that Heaven Knows What allows the reader to prepare their own chart, which includes an overall description of your character, attributes, etc., and further includes several ancillary insights into what makes you, you.

Doing my chart many years ago, some of those insights were not flattering. They were nonetheless quite incisive, and struck me as "true."

I had my chart done about a year ago. I never saw anything so accurate in my life. I also learned that you truly have to have an expansive perception to see where some things could be viewed as negative, when, as part of the whole, are quite accurate. I love that he loved the math of it.

Pretty interesting. He lived in Tucson. We will be there next week.

Two of my aunts live there. I haven't been there in 40 years. It was quite beautiful then. I'm sure it still is.

This reminded me of a story because my SIL's brother works for the RCMP and was stationed in the area you pinpointed at one point in his career. My coworker of 30 years had to fly to Thunder Bay and then drive to Hearst to visit our customers.

He rented a car and drove....very fast along the route. He got pulled over, he was way over the speed limit. He told me the story and said the cop was really nice and they chatted quite a bit, the cop reduced his ticket so that he wouldn't lose points on his license.

Jokingly, I said it must have been my SIL's brother, he is a sweetheart, really kind and good hearted guy. He laughed because the chances were so slim. He said he had the ticket on his fridge at home, so I asked him to check the signature and see if it was his name. It was him! The story got relayed back to him, we still talk about it at times because it is amazing. Small world!

Looks like the nasty weather is starting to move in.

Used to be that the weather folks on tv only freaked out when a blizzard was coming....now every time a drop of rain is expected, everyone loses their minds. Last night, I was expecting to wake up to Noah's ark floating by with constant f5 twisters. This morning? Nice, easy drive to boston with windshield wipers barely on.
