Used to be that the weather folks on tv only freaked out when a blizzard was coming....now every time a drop of rain is expected, everyone loses their minds. Last night, I was expecting to wake up to Noah's ark floating by with constant f5 twisters. This morning? Nice, easy drive to boston with windshield wipers barely on.

The culture these days.

That gets me too. Most times a rainy day is just a rainy day but no they gotta blast it all out of proportion all the time. Then they wonder why some people don't pay attention when they should.

I'm right on the RI border & today NWS has put out a flood warning for them, apparently they & MA are in for a lot of precipitation. We're just going to have a nice rainy day here.

If you look where it says ‘9:20 am’, thats where we are.
The dark red about 1/4 mile away is where high swirling winds were visible.

It’s pouring in Maine and supposed to last all day. The amount of rain we’ve gotten this year is insane. If we get half the precipitation in the winter it would be a great ski season.

My girl and I are looking to move to parry sound/area next spring. It’s about two hours north of where I am.

They seem to be getting bigger every year, from hurricanes to the 50 or 60+ feet of snow Mammoth got last year.

Probably some phenomenon that people have been trying to ignore for at least 100 years. Hopefully LK-99 is real and can speed up the transition to cleaner energy.

"They" really pulled one over on me this morning distracting me for a half hour while I waited for the storm to pass.
