He was with Hagens for a bit this year at BC. They are a great pair and complimented each other well. It’s just impossible to not put Hagens with Leonard and Perreault. His point totals would be much higher if he played with better line mates.

Stiga and Hagens have fantastic chemistry dating back to being linemates on the NTDP. But yeah, I don’t think Carle is going to risk going down with anything other than the Big 3 BC Line.

In the pre-tourney games, Stiga was listed on the wing with Ziemer and Moore as the center. Ziemer was the other winger on the NTDP line with Hagens/Stiga. I don’t know what happened in those games to make Carle leave Stiga off of the Germany game and then only be an extra today. But whatever it was, hopefully he comes off of that take since we will almost certainly need Stiga as the games ramp up.
