And what exactly are we doing with our Rhd if we move Schneider.
We have Emory but he’s at least another 2 years away. Rushing him is a bad thing as he has a couple clear deficiencies to his game.

I like cozens as a reshape piece. I just don’t think we can get him without hurting ourselves worse.

We need a center more than a RHD

Wish we had gotten Fowler in that Trouba trade, was supposed to happen, but it fell through. Check out his stats in St. Louis now since being traded. Instead we have the Borg. Not terrible but not good either.

Whats links them together? They all are a pain in the ass to play against and bring energy and compete.

The world knows tony would still be in the nhl if not for his outward political talk. No one on earth with tell you that nils lundqvist is better than TDA for example. He didnt even get a pto, thats not because of talent, thats because of political views.

But anyway, thats not the point here. The point is we need tougher guys who are total dirtbags on the ice to play against
You know that alot of NHL players are Republicans right? Its not his political beliefs, its that he's considered a locker room cancer. The dude doesn't shut up.

What moron of a defenseman, who's -4 in a game (and a very deserved -4) , when the goalie makes a bad play on a puck, which costs the game, then goes to the goalie after the game and says "nice job". DeAngelo...

There are locker room cancers who outplay their "cancer" status, and teams are willing to give chances to. DeAngelo was that for a while. But he even wore out his welcome in Carolina.
Carolina who habitually rehabilitates defenseman.

These are dark times for NYR fans. Getting to a point where there doesn't even seem to be an end in sight.

A lot of posters fault Chris Drury.
A lot of posters fault the Players.
A good amount of posters fault the defensive system.
Very few posters fault Laviolette.

One thing is certain. This team, with Drury as GM, Lavi as coach, Housley as Defensive coach, and a group of players that cant figure out how to play a full game collectively have become the laughing stock of the NHL.

The fans seem to be the only ones that F'n pissed off about it. Haven't seen one player, coach, or management figure blow a gasket yet. Like full blown tantrum. Toss some sticks on the ice. Maybe a water cooler. Nothing! It's like the great big empty! None of them care.

you realize fox is 26?

We have a few true rebuilders who want to sell high on Fox too.

IDK how realistic trading over half the team in one offseason is, however, and even less convinced that we could maximize returns on each if we tried to do so.

With a few trades this team can realistically give itself a top 4 pick. Thats what we need. There are the 4 guys at the top of this draft, then everyone else. I think our first plus chytil can get you the 1 overall this year. Maybe another lower pick, like a 3rd. Thats assuming we are in the top 7ish picks. Which I think we will be.

But we should try to get at least another 1st. Draft any one of the available centers or defensemen. Preferably 2, but that would be tough to get 2 more 1st round picks in this draft.

Center depth would then be Trocheck, Hagens, Brod, Carrick. Haha. So we should target Frederic and make a real 3rd line. Othmann-Frederic-Berard.

Panarin-Tro-Laf
Cuylle-Hagens-Perreault
Othmann-Fred-Berard
Ed-Carrick-Rempe
Brod

I'm already significantly more interested in next season. Haha

Has Housley ever had any success behind the bench? Every stop seems to produce a flop. Do you want another bomb while Drury is figuring out the next player’s move (realistically it probably will be closer to TDL)? Fire Housley

Sorry if this is a repeat, hard to keep up:
Would anyone have taken the Over for Roslovic and Howden pre-season?
Player. G
Roslovic. 16
Howden. 14
Kreider. 11
Zibanejad. 6

To me, this succinctly summarizes 60+ years of misguided fandom.

He aint a locker room cancer so your credibility is totally shot after that comment which leads to me not even reading the rest. Beloved by his teammates. Hes still tight with his rangers teammates.

Also, just an fyi, whole locker room hated georgiev further evidenced by his reaction to his first game back at the garden when he told the rangers bench to **** off after the win.

But I’m not speculating on the above, I have first hand knowledge of it.

Drury would do himself a lot of favors if he sent out another letter. Or if he at least had a press conference and laid out what his plan is going forward.

He needs to sell some kind of plan because this continued silence makes him look absolutely clueless. It’s hard to have any confidence in him at all.

I missed yesterday’s game because it was blacked out, how was Borgen? He’s the type of d-man the team should have more of, not less. He’s not perfect but he skates well, plays a physical game

That was all about getting rid of Trouba’s full cap hit and not taking on additional money. They probably could have flipped Fowler again, but I understand wanting the financial flexibility. It’s a shame Drury wasted it by giving Igor that ridiculous contract, even though we all knew it was coming.

TDA was so beloved in the NHL by his teammates, that he's no longer in the NHL because he couldn't shut the f*** up for 10 seconds and stop fighting with/pissing off his teammates/whatever organization he played for. Oh and being a shitty defenseman.

Being a conservative/who he supports politically is not the reason TDA's not in the league anymore. It's because he's an exceptionally gigantic dickhead. Georgiev is a dickhead too and he's toiling away in SJ until Askarov is ready, after showing what kind of goalie he really is in COL. We all have "first-hand" knowledge of all these things.

This team is just so uninspiring and has players that are easy not like.

I think i skipped more games out of indifference this year than all of year already.
