Run the Jewels
Nobody likes us, we don't care
Thank you Dylan, you are doing this franchise a solid. I hope you get playoff hockey for the rest of your NHL career.
Not a fan of 71 but not a hater. Want him on the Wings for the speed and 70 pints he brings. If you don’t know, you are gonna get killed on hereWhen a quote comes from Larkin or his agent, then you can believe it. Bunch of hoopla for now. I know hes not going anywhere, based off what I know, but thats too much for some to handle in here. IYKYK. Enjoy the afternoon with this "ALMOST" story. Woof.
Same. I’d also be down to turnover a ton of the front office.I'm here for this rollercoaster offseason honestly. I've been vocal about trading Larkin (and 27) to turn the page from the Holland era finally. This now gives us a new direction rather than running it back, which is what I was afraid about. No more 90 point seasons finishing 9th in the conference
I'm unsure of what this means for Debrincat, Kane, and some of the other vets. The uncertainty I certainly welcome though
Maybe they can attach Rasmuffin or JT "cardio" Compher to Larkin on the way out too![]()
You are actually welcome to comment here on hockey..... It's not a big dealIt's your space, your thread, but sorry, that isn't true. Eichel asked out 9 months BEFORE the injury. He even said so himself in an EF interview. His side of the story just became gospel.
Well he’s not gonna let Larkin dictate the trade and end up with a first kubalik sebrango like trade id rather make Larkin suffer for two years and then deal him if he plays hardballThis is where Yzerman either earns a longer run as GM, or where his tenure ends. I didn't think Yzerman would/should be given the opportunity to make this type of trade after the lack of success, but here we are. Yzerman has to get it right. This is a legacy defining time in his GM career.
He can rot in his parents basement shooting pucks for two yearsHis bitch ass NTC is going to handcuff us. I said he should have NEVER gave this clown this.

I think Yzerman gets longer leash … what can he do now? Nothing in free agency … ppl trading for Larkin will be trading younger assets. Is what it is unless we use those assets for Thomas
If that doesn’t happen debrincat is 100% gone … might as well eat 50% off Faulk and deal him and get a good return to a team wanting to spend every dollar. No point trading cossa and not giving him a shot , deal Gibson like I been suggesting at that point
If we can collect a bunch of assets to retool or use a collection of assets we got to make bigger moves later and retool and hopefully get a high end 2027 pick it is what it is. Get a few Ufa’s X 1 to flip and play the kids
Kinda of but not really because that NTC is going to make his return ass juice.Thank you Dylan, you are doing this franchise a solid. I hope you get playoff hockey for the rest of your NHL career.
They should have traded him when they traded Bertuzzi.I don't see how "making Larkin suffer" helps the Wings. He won't have the same trade protection in two years, but he'll be two years older and potentially out of his prime. This is the best time to trade him.
Doesn’t help the wings but we can trade him in two years at that time … I got no interest in trading for a similar debrincat like dealI don't see how "making Larkin suffer" helps the Wings. They definitely need to improve their NA scouting. Far too many misses in the first and second round on guys with zero potential to become game changers.Blessing in disguise team was going nowhere but they need new front office personnel or the next rebuild will be just like the last. Hopefully illitch utilizes this opportunity to do some restructuring
Two reputable sources said it's true. Larkin grew up a Leafs fan. He is a clown. If the hometown boy, who is the captain of the Red Wings, and has a No Movement clause wants out, who in the h*** will you find that wants in?
Personally, I think this is bulls***. I'll believe it when he says it.
