They probably shouldn't be complaining that Devil fans showed up, especially if you're going to drop this for no reason at all.
It's not as if our opinions ultimately matter on any of this. We get so worked up but none of this is a referendum on Montreal or the fans or even Hutson. He's going to do what he's going to do and whatever we say about here is irrelevant to him. Which it should be.

I agree, I try to not express too many opinions on other teams players because I don't watch them enough to have a valid opinion on them. From what I've seen of Hutson, he looks like he's going to be pretty good.
I assume people did a redraft of the 2017 draft after two years and they all look foolish.
Take Nick Suzuki for example. He was in the OHL for two seasons and was traded along with a 2nd and Tatar for Patches. He would probably have probably dropped in ranking at that time.
Point being redrafts this early just end up making you look foolish. There is always players that need longer time to marinate that end up doing better then the early risers.
Robertson is another example.
I said it's to early for a redraft, how stupid can you possibly be? How can I give you redraft when I'm telling you it's too soon to make any type of real list?

Yes, Seider was at 45.7% playing by far the hardest minutes in the NHL by a wide margin (and it was concerning when his numbers fell last year to 43%).
Eg, the Kaiden Guhle minutes.
Also hutson is at 39.9% this year.
Also, the difference between sub 40% and 46% is pretty massive.
Seider was -0.35/60 xGoal differential in his first 2 years. Or basically 1 goal for every 10 games at 17 minutes of 5v5 play a night.
For Hutson that number is -1.06/60. Or basically 1 goal for every 10 periods at 17 minutes of 5v5 play a night.
Or, over the course of a 1400 minute season 5v5, it's the difference between
-25 xGoal differential for Hutson
-8 xGoal differential for Seider

You could go through every single player on MTL and use their teammates as a reason for their poor results (and this does happen) and justify having them over a player on a good team.
