At 36, you would think there should be a big decline happening each year. You can take a look at the historical stats of 35+ players to come to that conclusion. This is obvious knowledge.
You need to look at his playing style, there is zero chance his production falls off a cliff.. think Jumbo Joe, except Kopi is still clearly one of the 2-3 best players on the Kings at 36YO

Jets have 12M in space plus can go over by another 10% of cap in offseason so that's another 8M. These guys need to look at jets cap situation before speculating

It is an extension- he is under contract until June 30th. The extention would start July 1 when Jets have 12M in space plus can be over by 10% or 8m in offseason- thats 20m
I think the rules are if they do this now, it's counting against the cap now? I dunno

PLD extension would count against next season’s cap. Sounds like a tagging space issue.

Edit: Never mind, didn’t realize those were next season’s cap numbers.

If Vilardi stays healthy, and PLD continues his same level of play we've seen in Winnipeg. This trade could end up looking really bad for LA.

Iafallo is underrated. You can put him anywhere in the lineup and he can make up for linemate's defensive shortcomings. He was very good in the playoffs also.
The bell with that, the “throw in” Rasmus Kuapri has better tools than our own Adrian Kempe … he’s going to breakout in a big way

PLD has missed 1 of fewer games in 4 of his 6 NHL seasons...

Great, not sure why you are pointing this out because you are responding to a post where Dubois was presented as "pacing" for 90 points before he got hurt and allegedly played injured for the rest of the season.

The person you responded to said staying healthy is a skill and you, for reasons unknown, respond with what you did, as if you weren't following the conversation.

Err... Jumbo Joe's performance declined in his late 30's.
