No i'm not happy to have him back. Look at the record without him. It is one of our best ever. He didn't play bottom six at all The lewis brown king line got the 2nd most mins there for making it our 2nd line for that game. Pearson needs to be playing more mins then King period. Your overstating his importance especially one game back against the 3rd worse team in the nhl Yes i would trade him first team that offers a 2nd 3rd and a rh ahl defenseman/or ahl goalie would be free to take him.

Again He didn't play bottom 6 mins He had the 2nd most lw mins behind lucic. When/if he played bottom 6 mins and does the same I will gladly concede the point he helps bottom six not until then.

Jesus Christ did you notice the score? I'm mad that doughty played as much as he did.

You also must have missed how dominate the 3rd line was all game. Sutter always plays the line that is performing more. Your position on this matter is asinine.

Further more it keeps weal out of the line up who just isn't ready. He's also not suited for the bottom 6.

Well i disagree and where did i say it hurt the team ? talk about reading into what i post. He had a good game against a crap team. If/when he does it against the hawks or capitals then i think he deserves the praise not for one game against the oiler ffs

I don't see anyone calling him a savior, but that they are just happy he is back.
He is one of LA's better players and helps a lot of different aspects of the game. Had LA lost I would still be happy he is back.

Again i didn't miss anything Just the praise for him is out of hand. He played well against a crap team and people are thinking hes the answer to our scoring woes Forgive me if i don't agree one game does not do that for me especially against the oilers. Also THE LINE OF BROWN LEWIS KING WAS OUR 2ND LINE FOR THAT GAME NOT 3RD LINE. Maybe if i capitalize it people we realize that. (doubt it but worth a shot)
My position on calling a line that plays the 2nd most mins in a game our second line for that game is asinine really that is simply calling a spade a spade. not a heart.

well you need to go back and reread some of the posts because to me saying he sparks the 3rd line is saying exactly that. However that is imo and your intitled to see it your way. No hes not la better players i see alot more ahead of him then behind him in importance ( all debateable thou ) Again he had a good game against a bad team and i wish people would see it as just that but the kingaid wil continue

The Brown line played more minutes because they were the most effective line last night. When Carter is back and, hypothetically, goes between Pearson and Gaborik, do you think the Brown line isn't going to be a bottom 6 line?

Record aside, the bottom 6 was failing to generate offense for a large portion of the season. Now you add a player (a LW... arguably the clubs least productive side) who is good for 15 goals a season to a team whose goal scoring leader historically gets under 30. His cap hit is $1.9 million. He's played 239 games (save for one or two) under the same coach and has been a part of the group that won 2 cups. And you'd rather have someone else on a team thats trying to make it 3 championships in 5 years? I can't agree with that.

You can keep harping about ice time all you want, they are the 3rd line. I don't know why you are having such a hard time with it and capitalizing it doesn't change a damn thing.

The bottom 6 had struggled all year, and people are glad he's back. It's not a hard concept to grasp.

King is the key to another Cup. He is the engine the stirs the drink.
 
Hockey Central gives over 5 minutes of love to the Kings at the end of the broadcast.

Of course, the fact that they played a Canadian team last night helped focus the panel members, but it was a good discussion.

he's a big body that protects the puck and plays smart, he might not light up the scoreboard every game but the King's style of hockey hinges on players like King that can control possession, especially in the offensive zone. he's very important to the Kings regardless of the line he plays on. did you see how well the King/Brown/Lewis line took back control of the game after Edmonton was gaining steam last night? it was beautiful. he's solid and I'm happy he's back on the team. if you want to complain about ice time, the reason that line got so much love is probably relative to the game being the 2nd of a back to back. cool your jets and enjoy the Kings while they are winning. no sense in getting your panties in a bunch after a 5-2 win
