Sloppy win but 3 in 4 nights with travel and a mostly good performance, whatever. I'll take it.

Sure is nice to have the league in our pocket, though. I mean, that's the easiest explanation for the no goal. We've never been affected by more obvious things like a puck off the netting or a stick off the bench affecting PLAYOFF SEEDING or a stick higher than Hanzal's 6'6" head putting a puck in so obviously that's the easiest thing to figure out

A puck off the netting is 100x worse than tonight imo.

Ok, I just watched the goal on a vine on my iPhone and it was clear as day. That's a good goal. Obviously the NHL wants the Kings to win, it's that simple. Just to be incredibly thourough and neutral I asked about the play on Yahoo Answers and two different people confirmed it. It was a good goal. NHL is going to help the Kings win again.

I can only imagine if Brown hit McJesus like Hall hit Kopi. Hall just has those Chris Kriedier problems and doesn't know his own strength

Im pretty sure, considering hall's weak mental state, he is still upset when Doughty destroyed him a few years ago.

The moaning about the fourth line is overdone on this board IMO.

But AA's horrid FO % so far this season does have me a bit concerned. I think it's playing on his mind at this point.

So after the icing in the 3rd, when they were hemmed in their own zone with McDavid's line on the ice, didn't worry you?

I know there are going to be shifts where things just arent going to work, but it seems every time they are on the ice they give up a scoring chance.

They played a whopping 5 minutes in the 2nd game of a back to back against Carolina, where Sutter could even match up the lines. They only got 7 minutes against SJ. Tonight they went up to 10 minutes and I can't recall a time thinking, damn, what a good shift by the 4th line. Maybe edmonton was too fast for them, i dont know. I just know I was nervous everytime they came on the ice.

If they aren't going to score they at least need to be able to put up enough minutes to give the other lines some rest. I don't recall any substained zone time from them much at all.

Maybe I'm nitpicking, but my previous post was just saying how I missed the days where these guys would truck people, and be able to cycle in the O-zone and not be a liability.
