That was a hell of a resilient win.

That 3 on 3 OT is the best OT in all of sports right now. Sweet baby Jesus was that ever thrilling. That save Quick made off his pad, then stick, was incredible.
 
Turned the game off when Hjalmarsson made it 2-0, only had it on in the background while watching a basketball game. Have to watch the replay tomorrow.

2 points, on to the next one.

lol, yeah a few more mentions of that in the chat on the feed I was watching, lol.

And good point on how close he was to 3... Still critical, but he is slowly heating up? We have definitely seen some more good from him lately.

Now we just need to start seeing him getting knocked over after every goal and its on.

That's a weird word to use. Are PP goals legitimate? There's a whole extra guy out there.

It's not like hockey exists outside of the human imagination. All parties agreed to the 3x3 in OT. They can make the rules be whatever they want. Even if the initial buzz were to wear off, I doubt it's going anywhere. So if it happens, win the illegitimacy. The money made on action movies still buys houses.
 
I'm still buzzing after this win, this coming from a guy who turned it off after the 2nd Hawks goal, only to turn it back on to see both of Gabby's goals. So glad I didn't cave and go to bed.
 
That was just a great freaking game, even when Chicago was winning, both teams were really pushing back and forth. NOthing like when both these teams are on (I know CHicago was a little off tonight).

Can you imagine if we just got league average goaltending how good we'd be :sarcasm: I mean, Quick only put up a .909 tonight, he sucks! Stopped just short of double-digit breakaways and odd-man breaks...

Meh, I am not overly against 3 on 3... or the shootout...

But 3 on 3 is a **** show.
We could have 8 players from each team jump out of planes and fire uzis at each other in free fall, and it would be equally entertaining... Maybe even more so. But after some time we would also realize its not hockey, in the same way the shoot out isn't. Only time will really tell, but in 3 season wait for people complaining about it it the same numbers they are praising it now.

IIRC, because internets.... save % is the ultimate judgement of goalie.

We can argue all day about what 3 on 3 is and isn't, but at the end of the day, its ****ing exhilarating hockey to watch and makes me want to go to a game.
