Well 1 thing they do much better and last year, is actually score when the pull the goalie.. That was a huge suck point last couple of years

Well you can't win them all.

I am still a little worried the Kings can't seem to put 60 minutes of hockey together vs the pacific.

It was a such a terrible way to end a good roadie. that 2nd will go down as the worst period of the season! Up 2-0, end the 2nd down 4-2.

I think it has to do with the defensive personnel. Half the time Doughty isn't out there the opponent geta an extended cycle. Slowly but surely the momentum changes.

I cant remember the last time I tuned in and got to see a win. So frustrating.

I'm hoping Folin's return allows guys to slot into more comfortable pairings. The only two guys that looked passable were Doughty and Muzzin. Not sure what happened to Martinez. Note to Stevens: Going forward, MacD shouldn't be in the lineup against quick teams.

Everything was just bad tonight and we still only lost by one. Abysmal second period, shit bounces, abysmal referees, plenty of self-inflicted wounds.

There's always a reason, but I'm sick of pissing away points against divisonal opponents.

macD had a better game than some of you guys are saying, 99 times out of 100 that bounce in the corner dies on his stick, he just had horrible luck that it bounced straight to the slot onto a flames stick

what we can't have is a martinez who's clearly off his game playing 24 minutes and fantenberg doing nothing

if nothing else gravel has to slot in for one of these guys just to pull some minutes off doughty and muzzin

With no pressure, he couldn't receive a simple pass. That was the opposite of soft hands, he couldn't handle it and deflected it out. That was a bad--albeit forgiveable--play. The unforgiveable stuff is getting muscled on the boards by EVERYONE. That's about his only NHL ability at this point and he was a miserable failure at it tonight.

Going? Assuming they make it. They have to start winning in regulation more often.

They took a step in the right direction tonight. The Flames have a shot at finishing 3rd in the Pacific Division, or getting a wild card spot.

Better be f***ing FLYING on Saturday vs. the Preds after a disgusting all around game tonight. These are the kind of games that make the coach in me furious. I'd be lining them up after the game a la Miracle after this one.

agreed, and i don't think they even checked that

replay was too short, i'm sure they checked what it hit but didn't bother to check where from

Even looking at it again, Quicks helmet is at the height of the crossbar, the guy who scored stick is above it the entire time even before making contact. He has to jump up to hit the puck out of the air.

Steven should've gotten video help from the team and challenged it being hitting with a high stick, not if it was knocked in with a glove.

Well Kings will be adding a very good center hopefully in Feb.
Need to still find a veteran D man though, Mike Green paired with Marty help things out?
